"I remember trying this restaurant once before and not being that disappointed. Unfortunately this time we just popped in to watch the italian world cup match and decided to just order an Aperol Spritz and some Antipasti della Casa, 1 x vegetarian, 1 x meat. This should be what really represents your restaurant, 'della casa', right? Filled omelette rolls, tasteless boiled carrots and Jalapeno peppers do not represent an italian restaurant very well. The difference between the vegetarian and the non-vegetarian option was 1-2 slices of Parma ham. There was of course some more recognizable italian food on the plates, but all together very disappointing. The pizzas looked fine. The atmosphere was very quiet despite the football on the big screen, meaning I was probably the only italian in there. The Aperol Spritz was excellent and the Limoncello at the end was good quality and served ice cold, like it should be. Go there for pizza and drinks."

"This might be one of your better choices near downtown, easily accessible by car or by foot across the bridge. Of course, I am now accustomed to "real" food, not the chemically-laced junk we somehow benignly swallow in the US, but every once in a while, I crave good beef which does not have a strong presence here in DE. When the urge hits, one of the ways to satisfy it is to make a beeline to Fuego del Sur. Although I am dismayed with the need to first feed a meter to park before I can feed myself, I've found the steak very flavorful and prepared as requested (English rare rare rare) and therefore, it's been worth it. The environment smacks a bit of "warehouse" since it is very spacious and rather sparsely decorated, and I've not been overwhelmed with the other selections, but neither have I been disappointed. My dinner companion enjoyed her seafood selection very much. It will surely be a matter of personal taste, so give it a try. It's usually in the "Kiel and Umgebung" Gutscheinebuch, if that's what it takes to get you in the door. It might become your new "beef go to" restaurant."

"Bisschen über eine Stunde haben wir auf eine kleine Pizza, Pommes und einen Burger für zusammen bummelig 29€ gewartet. Der Lieferant war super freundlich aber mein Burger bestand nur aus Rucola, Patty und Saucen (ich halte Salat, Gurke und Tomate irgendwo für selbstverständlich und war entsprechend enttäuscht), die Pommes waren weich und lauwarm und die Pizza meines Mitbewohners fand er ebenfalls enttäuschend. Ich werd wohl nicht mehr dort bestellen. Dafür stehen Preis und Leistung in keinem ausreichendem Verhältnis zueinander.."

"Schmunzelnd beschrieben ist das Milano aus der Zeit gefallen, so abgegriffene Eiskarten hab ich noch nie gesehen. Das passt aber zur Einrichtung, die scheint mir zuletzt in den 80igern renoviert und ist also nett angewarzt gemütlich. Wer in so einer Umgebung und bei den günstigen Preisen Sterneküche erwartet, hat dann aber selbst schuld. Die umfangreiche Karte zeigt einen zur netten Wirtin passenden kleinen indischen Teil und viele einfache italienische Gerichte ohne grossen Chi Chi. Die Pizza tja, den ziemlich dicken Boden muss man mögen, der Belag war sehr lecker und der Preis unschlagbar. Zumal wir hinterher auch noch zwischen Grappa und Marsala aufs Haus wählen durften und das sogar mehrfach vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Wer auf den Preis achten muss ist hier gut aufgehoben, Nostalgiefans werden das Milano lieben, Gourmets machen besser einen Bogen. PS : das indische Curry Huhn ist lecker und europäisch angepasst wenig scharf!"

"the restaurant is centrally located and it has good choices of vegan and vegetarian. the products are well labeled in their menu with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and diary free labels. I tried the falafel tahini option there and the fresh juices, green smoothies and the brownies (the gluten-free were). the portions were generous and filling. my impression was that this is the place to go if they want to eat healthy when they are in the center of kiel. I liked that the place is a combination between a caffe and restaurant where I could enjoy the breakfast (if they have their breakfast after 10 o'clock), lunch and dinner. I personally classify the restaurants that offer vegan/vegetarian options in two groups: those who know how to cook vegetarian/vegan, know what vegetarian/vegan people like to eat in the rule. I will call this real vegetarian / vegan eating. cook in the regular meat dishes and also have a vegetarian / vegan only for the lack. eating is actually badly tasted and has little food and the ingredients used are too few to meet the standards of a complete / healthy vegetarian / vegan diet. I will call this pseudo vegetarian/vegan food. dean david belongs to the first real category. the menu is missing an English translation. However, the personal speaks English and you can manage it without knowing German. you can also eat and order in the internet. "In schöner Atmosphäre einfach mal ganz entspannt Essen. Das Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig. Es ist alles da, Salat, Sushi, Vorspeisen, chinesisches Buffet mit vielen leckeren Gerichten und dann das Terriyaki-Buffet. Hier wird das Fleisch und die Zutaten frisch zubereitet, so wie man sich die Roh-Produkte ausgesucht hat. Einfach nur lecker. Und dann das Nachtisch-Buffet mit Früchten, Eis, Nachspeisen und vorallem auch noch der Schokoladen-Brunnen. Und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett. Sehr zu empfehlen."

"We had just been remembering our brazilian holiday, so our choice for the night fell on this restaurant, situated next to the central train station in Kiel. Plus point for being opened on Monday night and offering the Churrasco (traditionally served at the table on huge skewers... all you can eat). We ordered it for 4 people. The salad buffet is very fresh and offers excellent variety: additionally to purely veggie salads, also some cheese, bruschettas, spanish omelette etc... We were then served some side-dishes: beans, potatoes, mushrooms, rice. The meat rounds started at a steady (almost too quick) pace: beef, lamb, chicken in speck mantel, entrecôte, roasted ham... absolutely amazing. My favourite was the entrecôte, but everything was excellent. only the lamb was a little overcooked. We had to beg for a short pause, as we were getting too full too soon and wanted to try everything. After 7 or 8 different types of meat, the waitress asked us what we would like to re-order, but we were absolutely bursting. The dessert was roasted pinapple (presented in a similar way) with walnut ice-cream. This feast for only 26.50 pp. Highly recommended!"

"Haben zum abholen bestellt. Das Essen war schnell fertig, sogar noch vor der angegebenen Zeit. Jedoch ist die Preisleistung nicht so wie ich mir das vorgestellt hatte. Ein Döner kostet 7,50€ was schon echt happig ist aber wenn er gut ist kann man auch nicht meckern. Ich fand ihn dafür leider nicht ganz gut genug das Brot war sehr brüchlich und viel auseinander zudem war die ovale Form eher unhandlich und sorgte dafür das an den Seiten die Hälfte rausfiehl. Geschmacklich war das Essen ganz in Ordnung haut einen aber leider nicht um. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend."

"Wir hatten unseren Girls day richtig Hunger auf Sushi . wir essen gerne und oft Sushi Von außen wie innen sah alles sehr einladend aus. Trinken bestellt, es kam geliefert schon aus 2 Meter Entfernung sah ich das ein Glas mit 3 !!!Lippenstiftabdrücken versehen war. Habe direkt gesagt das ich gerne ein neues bekommen möchte. Ohne eine Entschuldigung dafür zu bekommen denn wenn es einem wichtig ist, würde man dies tun wurde es getauscht. Dennoch tranken wir unser Wasser lieber aus der Flasche . Vorweg haben wir Edamame mit Meersalz bestellt Meersalz suchte man vergeblich Ich habe noch nie so aufgeweichte schlechte Edamame gegessen vermutlich vorgekocht lange im heißen Wasser gelagert oder in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt Ich wollte mit Stäbchen essen es gibt dort wiederverwendbare Plastikstäbchen … diese waren ebenfalls nicht sauber mit Essensresten vom vorherigen Gast versehen. Meine Tochter hat ihr Sushi dann mit den Fingern gegessen, da sie sich sehr geeckelt hat. Wir hatten vegetarisches Maki mit Avocado Gurke,Lachs Garnelen Maki. Der Seetang war sehr gummiartig. Die Gurke war bereits angetrocknet. Mein Maki mit Lachs war ebenfalls geschredderter Lachs. wie bereits in einer anderen Bewertung geschrieben Kurzum gab es um 16:00 Uhr für uns vermutlich bereits lange im Voraus vorbereitetes Sushi. Das Sushi von Edeka ist da ungelogen tausend mal frischer und leckerer!!! Die Toilette sieht auf den ersten Blick recht modern aus, auf den 2. Blick spiegelt sich die Sauberkeit auch dort nicht positiv wieder. Bei der Zahlung mit ec Karte wurde mir nur die Seite zum kontaktlosen bezahlen hin gehalten. Ich sehe gerne was auf dem Display steht, immer!!!Wo auch gesagt wurde ich brauche keine Sorge haben das da was falsche steht. Bin der Meinung, es kann immer aus Versehen passieren das man eine Zahl zu viel eintippt.Daher checke ich immer das Display … aber auch da fühlten sie sich auf den Schlips getreten. Klar wir waren um 16 Uhr essen, aber gerade dann, wenn nur 3 Tische besetzt sind ,erwarte ich frisch zubereitetes Sushi es war mehr als genug Personal anwesend, welches hinterm Tresen am Handy beschäftigt waren Meinem Bauch ging es am Abend ebenfalls nicht wirklich gut!!! Ich kann mich den anderen Bewertungen von vor 2-3 Wochen anschließen verstehe die positiven Bewertungen nicht! Für uns kein 2. Besuch wert. Und negative Bewertungen werden sich hier anscheinend nur online zu Herzen genommen."

"The Al Gambero restaurant and pizzeria is an Italian establishment situated centrally in the main shopping area of the Kiel suburb of Friedrichsort, some 8 km north of the city centre. We visited at lunchtime in April 2014 and found a real hive of activity....We were lucky to find a free table for two almost immediately, as most of the tables in both dining areas were already taken, mostly by local workers from the nearby engineering factories, judging by their huge appetite and their capacity to eat mountains of freshly-cooked pasta dishes. This is certainly no refined restaurant. But it reflects the local requirement for somewhere relatively inexpensive to get a quickly prepared and tasty lunch. As is the rule generally in this part of Germany, people like to be served quickly and to eat as quickly as possible before leaving for their afternoon employment. So, don’t expect any refined conversations with the serving staff, who rapidly and efficiently get on with their job of serving hot food and a glass of something to drink. A word on the restaurant: tables are of the bare wooden type, no decoration is provided and napkins are of the paper variety. No candles or elegant glassware. Cutlery is limited to what is strictly necessary for pasta dishes, a spoon and a fork. But it is spotlessly clean. The menu is adequately furnished, with several Italian pasta dishes along with a range of pizzas, all of which appeared to be freshly prepared. My spaghetti with diced ham, onion and tomato sauce was copious, hot and served with a side dish of baguette. I took a glass of Sardinian syrah, a heavy red wine common in southern Europe. My wife had a white wine schorle, a dry white served with mineral water to accompany her pasta dish which was served with a cheese and broccoli sauce. We have not used this restaurant in the evening, so we cannot comment on the standard of service and quality of food served at this time of day. However, the lunchtime experience suggests it could well be worth another visit, but we do not expect any culinary delights."

"We were at Pho 1990 on a Saturday evening and luckily had reserved in advance absolutely necessary because it was really full (and therefore quite loud at times). Despite the rush, the service was super nice and patiently took the time to answer our questions about the menu. It took about 30 minutes for our order (including drinks) to be taken. The wait didn't bother us that much, but I'm sure everyone sees it differently. About the food itself: We tried several dishes and they all looked great and were really tasty! The ingredients were fresh and the selection of vegan options is great . The portions are really generous – we were super full! However, we couldn't tell from the menu how big the portions were, which was a bit confusing. A number of pieces would be particularly practical for summer or spring rolls. The price performance ratio is good and there are even cheap offers at lunchtime. Around 9 p.m. it became much quieter, so we were able to end the evening relaxing. We would definitely like to come back!"

"Can't honestly understand why people do so hard with a 5-star rating. spontaneously called and a table for half an hour. Since the weather was very modest, we decided to order the food home. When we tried to order via Deliveryando, there were complications during payment and we could never really complete the order. We then called back to the restaurant, canceled our table and again asked if Deliveryando has submitted several orders. The boss on the phone was super friendly and very helpful. He had understanding the table cancellation and offered us to order via his homepage. Better than Deliveryando and we also have a free drink.
