"Namaste, ( according to my research ) is a respectful form of greeting when spoken and is accompanied by the clasped hands gesture. Not only is it the apt name of the restaurant but, without fail, is how every diner is greeted, more often than not by the utterly charming lady owner, resplendent in her Sari.With such a welcome, you really do feel welcomed, and it does set the tone for your visit. I have been there several times, often for lunch in the Summer months enjoying the enclosed courtyard and superb cuisine. and I have taken many photos, as that is my hobby…. food, haha.I have never really found the time to write a review ( until now ) and was urged to do so, because I went again recently with some local friends who are both Vegetarian… not easy, for a confirmed meat eater such as myself.The restaurant does lay on a fixed price buffet, Friday through Sunday evenings ( sorry, I don’t like the term “all you can eat” ) … but the variety of choice is well worth a mention. Bear in mind this is pre-Christmas, so booking was essential, and like most restaurants at this time, was full. However, we didn’t feel under pressure to “scoff and go” which is also a great feeling and adds to the quality of the evening. As I have mentioned it is the variety which counts here, suffice to say that my guests ate their fill from the vast selection of Vegan and Vegetarian offerings, as did I.I am sure interested parties will find their website easily for detailed information, However, the “must haves” for me are the:a) Chapati: A sea-salt encrusted and “inflated” bread… yum!b) The Mango and Yoghurt drink: Seriously, this is like Ambrosia from the gods!c) Trifle: equally divine! from the array of deserts and fresh fruits.Oooo, I have to stop writing now, as I am getting quite peckish. If you are in the Krefeld region, check it out, go eat and enjoy."

"Wir hatten spontan Lust auf einen Date Night am Samstagabend und haben Freitag abends um 22 Uhr versucht einen Tisch zu reservieren. Glücklicherweise ist wohl eine Reservierung abgesagt worden so dass wir noch einen Tisch bekommen haben. Das Telefonat war super sympathisch und nett. Am nächsten Abend sind wir also in das Restaurant gelaufen. Leider ist das Umfeld des nicht so schön. Krefeld halt. Wäre das Restaurant noch in einer schönen Fußgängerzone mit schönen Bars und Restaurants in direkter Nachbarschaft wäre es noch toller hier essen zu gehen. Der Service, die Einrichtung und das Essen haben uns allerdings voll überzeugt. Ja, es ist zwar auch nicht günstig aber die Qualität, der Geschmack und die Anrichtung der Speisen waren wirklich top. Wir haben mit zwei Vorspeisen zwei Hauptspeisen und eine geteilte Nachspeise und mit je zwei Getränken und einer großen Wasserflasche 130 € bezahlt. Für die Qualität empfanden wir das als fair. Ist aber natürlich nichts was man jetzt jede Woche macht. Wer einen netten Abend zu zweit oder mehr haben möchte, gehobenen Service und Qualität möchte, ist hier genau richtig."

"then we managed to get a place in the bellini, but we also reserved 4 weeks in advance. but that was worth it! as an appetizer I had fish soup with saffron. the fish soup was fantastic! it even surpassed my best fish soup from the san leo in d’dorf and that wants to mean something. very fine saffron note, super fresh fish and the only part was that the portion was so large that for the lasagne to the main course was simply no more space in the mag. so my man also had what of it that was very happy with his red beete carpaccio and a really great after crumbling fragrant meats. the service is simply really nice. we have been recommended a very great acid-poor lugana, from which we will be swarming for a long time. because the bellini is quite small, the noise level is correspondingly high. for a romantic evening perhaps more recommended if you are enough to look in love with each other, to be rather unsuitable for cleaning. the publikum is wildly mixed but through the bank sympathetic. and for those who don't get any more table: the pizza is one of the best in crefeld and can be taken wonderfully with to home."

"I liked the restaurant very well. it was not a problem to get a parking space. inside we were immediately received friendly and we were led to the table. there is a quiet atmosphere, although the restaurant is very large. the insulated light contributes to a beautiful mood. the service was very friendly. the beverages were brought very quickly, which feed in a reasonable time frame after ordering. eating was sufficient and very tasty. you have been asked more often whether you want to have something, but in no way too often or intrusive. the prices were very moderate."

"update 14.12.22: today it was time again and I visited this restaurant on the afternoon. the food was very good again. the friendliness and attentiveness that the owner, his wife and the young man receive in the service area is also welcome. I find it remarkable that it is also considered very hygienic here, so that after each guest the table is cleaned with disinfection spray. the only (more) critique would be price transparency again. this was already criticized during my first review today, it was not given in other form because the offered salt potatoes were exchanged in the midday menu of pommes, which brought an additional cost of €0.50. I do not criticize the supplement itself (although I consider the supplements to be equivalent), but this supplement was nowhere visible nor pointed out. eating is really good there and we ordered there some time ago eating and also taking it up. unfortunately the food was not well packed and the associated saucer was at the arrival home unfortunately outside the packaging. I'll take a star for it. "formerly a (recognisable) old German local, since 2015 with Vietnamese cuisine. authentic furniture with (to)? much asian deko. we were there several times and always satisfied. The original Vietnamese dishes are particularly interesting, especially soups in large portions. surprisingly for a Vietnamese cuisine that barely vegetarian (=3) dishes (with tofu) are on the map. on Friday and Saturday evening already occupied, then better reserve. desires after modification of dresses are not always easy to communicate, as the very friendly and endeavored staff dominates little German."

"as a much traveler who goes to eat almost daily, I cannot fully understand the reviews. as I was alone on the road (without a woman or a customer) I am spontaneously here. the local relatiw empty, got as table a cat table back at the kitchen or the bar for the preparation of the brotes or the like, that was still ok. but since I could not overhear the owner's conversation with a co-worker, which one could only serve me broth, since I had ordered enough tapas (6 different courts) I thought to what high rosss one sitting here in a crefeld? now, from aioli to the house before not to mention. aioli is also placed free of charge with us in düsseldorf (but not only in düsseldorf) on the table, which must also be paid extra. therefore I did not. "who wants to eat authentic Indian is here on the right way! mother india is not only the best Indian restaurant in krefeld but is delighted by its cozy ambiente and the nice cook welcome everyone. I am so excited about the kokos letie (for which it is worth to drive) and also from the appetizer and the "after mint" which you get after each eat to not feel so full. the appetizer is not a naan brot but fried teigchips with different sauces. it's really something special! the main foods are currys that are simply delicious. who likes to enjoy here at the right address :)"

"we were eating on the basis of a recommendation in the santa lucia. had booked a table outside, great atmosphere, we liked it. but immediately after the arrival it started...we were standing loosely 2 minutes next to the door, several times waited waiter past us, but they did not respect us. then we got our table on the edge of what I really liked. the local was well occupied, the waiters had to do. we have ordered our drinks and the food and then is approx. 10 minutes nothing happens. then the waiter came again, with the demand we had ordered for drinks. then nothing happened again. then our appetizer came, handed over by another waiter. he also realized that we had nothing to drink. We then had our drinks after about 20 minutes...not nice, but can happen.All the tables got brot with crimped butter, only we don't. we were apparently forgotten. was that because the table was completely outside? then the broth basket came to demand. the crimped butter tasted like garlic powder, not so dolle somehow.As an appetizer a pizza divided...the was really good, the teig however bad. just flat, no beautiful edge, little taste. I know that better. Then the main dishes. lachsfilet on pestonudeln. the salmon completely unworn...if you leave it completely to the gast (I mean, this is a thing of the cook to season a dish), then you put a pepper and salt on the table!? I borrowed from the side table. the pestonulas have almost tasted after nothing and the pesto was somehow made with cream or milk and not only with oil as you know otherwise. there were rahmwirsing, rahmkarrabi and mouths!? strange combination...I would have expected to drill now, zucchini, grill vegetables or the like. that didn't fit. you could eat it, but it wasn't worth his money.The second main dish was a lasagne. I've never seen such a lasagne... between the plates hardly filling, which was kind of underneath or in the sauce. then the whole tasted like broth powder, no raffiness, no more crumbled. just boring. also this dish could be eaten in the end, but good is somehow quite different. I don't know what happened. If I read the reports here, I can't explain. was the chef on holiday or something?If we're going to start another attempt at some time, I don't know...it's not my own."

"Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dass wir durch die Tapas Platte mehrere Vorspeisen probieren konnten, die alle sehr gut schmeckten. Auch unser GinTonic war mit Liebe angerichtet und ordentlich portioniert. Nur bei unseren Hauptspeisen waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Da hatten wir zweimal die gleiche Currysoße erwischt, die etwas langweilig im Geschmack war und vor allem der Oktopus könnte kräftiger angebraten oder gegrillt werden, damit der schlabbrige Teil schön knusprig wird. Ansonsten große Portionen, wir haben mit der Vorspeise dann nicht mehr alles geschafft. Und sehr freundliches Personal. Es hat uns gefreut."
