"This listed building with exposed beams and a large conservatory was a great find. This is an Italian restaurant with a difference - apart from the usual dishes which you expect to find there was a large selection of game. I went with a friend for Sunday lunch: her calves liver with fried onions and apples was voted a great success. I was delighted with wild boar steaks in a rich sauce, served with lentils and filled gnocchi.The service was friendly and efficient, the welome was friendly. We hadn't booked a table (next time we'll plan ahead) but they found us a small table in the conservatory. There was a fixed menu for less than 20 Euro. Our bill with two proseccos, a bottle of water and 2 coffees was 55 Euro. The portions are very generous and as a result we did not manage to sample the desserts (they did look tempting). The menu was varied, it was difficult to decide what to have - and every dish that was taken to other tables looked tempting. As a tribute to the game season there were a number of pasta dishes with game rather than mince.We would go back anytime, it was a lovely place for a leisurely lunch. We did no notice a reserved parking area but there is plenty of street parking close by."

"Habe letztens mit meinem Vater den Mittagstisch ausprobiert, hatten beide eine riesen Currywurst mit Pommes. Die Wurst war sehr fettig und hatte einen nicht schönen Eigengeschmack. Die Currysauce zu Wurst war eine übliche Soße die man öfters zur Currywurst serviert bekommt , also nichts besonderes. Die Pommes waren leider von innen noch roh, das Gesamtpaket für 6,90 € war trotz des eher niedrigen Preises sehr enttäuschend. Ich würde dieses urige Lokal empfehlen um ein Bier zu trinken, aber essen würde ich woanders es gibt viel schönere Restaurants in der Nähe."

"Vorab-Service gut und sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Pizza sah gut aus. Ich nahm das Scaloppine mit Steinpilzen. Das panierte Stück Fleisch war ein Fertigprodukt. Davon gibt es sicherlich gute und schlechte. Das war die zweite Kategorie. Die Panade klebte wie Beton am Schnitzel. Die Steinpilze waren in einer wässrig, säuerlichen Sugo und haben so all ihr Aroma eingebüßt. Der Wesswein war gut, es gab allerdings nur noch zwei Gläser (um 17:30 Uhr). Das gesamte Lokal dürfte etwas sauberer wirken.Die Karte ist viel zu groß......das hätte mir im Vorfeld schon zu denken geben müssen."

"we knew the wolterhof from the past as an idyllic restaurant with a good ambiente and decided to perform a funeral celebration in the february. the flat-rate bill per participant also seemed appropriate and fair, as the number of visitors was not known before. the local with decoration and service were also very appropriate and friendly this day. the oversightable pie and broth plate on the table-seat left us and all the guests present (at the midday) somewhat sceptical three-view. I do not want to comment on the selection of the pads and cakes. all in all, then the portions (after repeated hesitation) served for saturation. Unfortunately, however, when we received the billing. for 46 well-known participants (including small children) of the funeral we were presented a bill for 53 persons. In addition, tee was also charged, which had been drunk by some participants instead of coffee. I wonder if the restaurant management really needs to enrich (not even cheap) flat-rate price per participant with such unfair means. A pity that such a shameful picture of the appearance with us and also with many guests (which mostly came from the opposite and knew the wolterhof of short visits) led these experiences to avoid the hof in the future."
