"This restaurant is now completely separate from the hotel and run by a young couple, already very experienced in running a restaurant. We visited on the first lunch time of opening and were impressed. Service with a smile, an excellent selection of cold dishes for...the usual menu ouvrier buffet. It was all fresh and nicely prepared and presented. A good choice of main dishes. Between the four of us we had jambon braisé, joue de porc and steak, with a choice of accompaniments. All three were full of taste. Those that had steak said it was the best they had had for a long time. Followed by cheese and dessert, among which was a rich and delicious chocolate mousse, fait maison. Coffee and wine were included in the price of euros. An alternative was a bottle of cider. To mark the opening of the restaurant a glass of kir is offered throughout the month of February. We shall return and no doubt recommend to guests who stay with us."
