"A friday night in June and the outside terrace was pretty much full. The menu is limited to 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts, €25 for 2 courses, €29 for 3 and a bit more if you want 3 plus cheese ; maybe €32. I'd much rather this knowing it's freshly made than a huge choice of reheated dishes. Crab pancake roll starter was excellent, as was the tête de veau. Supreme of guineau fowl was cooked just right though could have done with a bit more sauce. Served with crushed potatoes, excellent, and some tasty, if rather small blobs of purée. Some veg would have been nice. My wife had the beef which she said was great, nearly raw as she likes it! Very good crême brulée after. Wine list is mainly local (Loire and Poitou) and reasonably priced. Excellent, friendly service throughout."
