"Hello. I had lunch on 1 December in a group of 17 people. I enjoyed the great availability of staff, the speed of service. The choice is large, from the dish of the day to the menu at 29,90 €, without forgetting the choice of the card. I opted for this menu at 29,90 € and chose (big choice) an excra entry, a main dish called crispy lamb and a not wise cut with whipped and ice cream. 29,90 € is already a sum, but the kitchen is good and the pieces copied, and let's be realistic the rise of raw materials prices is a reality. Good choice of wine bottles at affordable prices (about 20 euros) including a good wine from Portugal. For aperitif, reasonable prices, 4,50 € for a red martini for example. In summary a good address for a moment of conviviality."

"This was probably the most distant restaurant in La Roche sur Yon from our car parking space by the bus station but was well worth the walk! We had looked at many restaurants on the way and had been impressed with the range of cuisines on offer and the fact that many were buzzing with life. Le Karo is situated on a high walkway next to the market hall and has a large terrace and indoor space. The clientele is almost exclusively French and is clearly the sort of place where young professionals take new girlfriends or colleagues meet up after work. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent with amuse bouche being provided at the start of the meal. There was an error (in our favour) on the bill which we pointed out to the manager this was dealt with very efficiently and we were not charged for our coffees as a thank you. All in all a very pleasant evening out so definitely would recommend. Probably best if your French is reasonable to best enjoy the experience."

"The view from the few tables out front will be all the better once the major reconstruction of Les Halles is finished but it’s still a pleasant place to sit and I was warmly welcomed by monsieur le patron. I opted for the salad Thai Landaise which is duck with beautiful crispy salad vegetables and sweet potato galettes or cakes. Monsieur was anxious, given my poor French, to make sure both when I ordered and when it was delivered, that I understood the duck was raw and ‘cooked’ by the marinade. He needn’t have worried , it was superb and good value at 11 euros. The plate of 3 cheeses at 4 euros is excellent and with a glass of red, I was more than happy. Lovely food, nice people."

"In this time of containment where restaurants are closed, the p'tit marsh to choose to make the sale to take away in order to work anyway. By solidarity with them and because it is an excellent restaurant very overwhelming, I made an order, certainly small, but I was not disappointed. Enter a salmon dish with a delicious red beet sauce! And a very hearty vegetarian bowl with vegetables that I rediscovered and hot lawyer a real treat. It's very good, not expensive. Thanks to the Cheffe de cuisine!!! Too good! I'll be back! "Apéro = ricard façon radinos (vraiment) faut pas ajouter d'eau en fait ! Choix repas très très restrictif.... De la viande et de la viande ! Pas de choix de sauce Accompagnement ? Ben... Des frites noires, grasses et tiédasses ! Huile HS sans doute, et démarrage à froid (???) Bref , couleur entre marron et noir .Service long malgré une salle vide ! Personnel nombreux et peu occupé .Situation en bord de voie rapide ....Bref , en dehors du cadre intérieur qui est somme toute assez sympa, pas grand chose de bien !En plus on paye d'avance !!!Va falloir se réveiller un peu , je pense . Faute de quoi...."

"We chose this restaurant because we knew by experience that it was a safe value. We've been there several times. Once again, we were not disappointed. We took the couscous with grilled meat. perfect as usual. carrots were more numerous than zucchini and whirlpools, probably because of the winter season. the house tajine, very copier, was good, a little fat however. Finally, classic desserts: fruit salad, Moroccan pastries, shaving. the givré lemon however disappointed: without great flavor, we have experienced better in the past. value for the correct money. average: 29 € per person, including coffee and teas."

"I went three times, 1st time with my boyfriend and second with my mum, third with my sister. I suggest taking a menu. 23€ or 29€ per person; starter/ main course and dessert. It is worth it. At lunch they also have another menu 17€ starter/main course/ dessert. The same price as my salmon tartar. As regarding to service, they were always busy (I went twice for dinner and once for lunch). So waiters don't have much time. (I think they must be understaffed). There where even waiters who were running (Could be a danger to staff and clients). Besides that, our waiter was kind and had a smile. The quality of the food is what you get for the price. Not excellent but not bad. Just right. The reason why i went a few times, and will still go again."

"All comments on the different sites are in harmony with my stay We must not expect great luxury Even important note about hygiene and the famous breakfast cheese ham yogurts being not at the expense, high temperature during the days of my stay and yogurts dated until 30/05 as we are the 31!!! Information about the room number: 7 on the key and 2 in-room posters rated 107 and/or 307 View on a room serving as a dumpster behind the window and small terrace and garden left to abandon and frieze! Really a pity because the staff is helpful and friendly but fearful of “ Boris Johnson” remaining at the entrance of the hotel as a “Beefeater” in his welcome hut"

"No worries at the level of the meal everything was perfect as usual. Just a very big reproach for the deliveryman who was present in the shop while we were waiting for our order on the evening of the fathers' fete. He had a disgusting look on my eldest daughter obviously women do not have the right to debutter and shorts when he does 35 degrees without having to bear big perverts., he looked at him like a big piece of meat and those for 10 minutes. "If you find yourself in Roch Sur Yon then a block of the main square is this fantastic resteraunt. Luckily I had other friends find it and drag me along. I love pizzas and this charming place now has its named etched in the top 3 I've had in the world. (The other two were both from places now gone, one on Huntington drive, Monrovia, California and the other in South Yarra, Melbourne Australia) There is a saying that you shouldn't expect great food from places that have pictures on the menu. Luckily for us they did have pictures as our French is very poor, but only 1 or 2 pictures. Although there is a range of pizzas and other fare on the menu, the choice was down to these 2. I honestly cant recall the name of either, but we each picked the same one that seemed to have a range of hams, and cheese on it. I added champignons (thats about the only french I know) and my friends did as well. Note: the pciture was not itself of the best quality! To cut to the chase the pizzas which came to our table quite fast, were FANTASTIC. I cant recall savouring a pizza with a knife and fork for so long. A good quantiity of toppings and a very fresh base. Don't know what else to say but the title speaks for itself Service was also very good seeing the place was full when we arrived (now we know why). There was no problem getting drinks during the course of our meal. So give it a try, you wont be dissappointed If only we weren't in town for just a weekend!"

"I went to eat at this restaurant once, but that was a long time ago, in 2010, when it was still called Maître Kanter 's Tavern. I have very good memories of it. Now, I regularly pass by this restaurant in the evening to consult the menu, perhaps just to return. But when I see the work right outside the door, I pity the bosses. I hope for their sake that the work has no impact on their customers. The other evening I wandered past and thought of a recent song by Pierre Perret called Paris saccagée released last year; And the idea came to me to perhaps write a song on the same model, but entitled “La Roche-Sur-Yon en travail”! All this work at the same time in La Roche, fed up, and I hope it doesn 't bother the traders too much."

"Nous nous sommes appuyés sur Tripadvisor pour trouver un endroit pour dîner dehors plutôt qu’à l’hôtel car nous souhaitions découvrir le centre : accueil sans chichis, personnels efficaces et multiples, le service est fluide et régulier. La déco et l’ambiance très agréables. Côté plats, après un choix cornéliens du fait d’une carte alléchante, nous avons finis par opter pour le « filet de lieu jaune pêché à la ligne » et nous n’avons pas regretté. Le moulin à poivre XXXL n’est pas seulement un accessoire mais bien pour sublimer la saveur ! Le « baba aux rhum » (avec la bouteille en renfort), revisité (micro dés d’ananas frais et crème fraîche) est une pure merveille. On sent une grande maîtrise à tous niveaux. Bravo !"

"It's a nice restaurant, easy to find, where it's good to meet, maybe for the aperitif. the kitchen, which is after all the reason for being a restaurant, is not terrible: the choice is extremely limited, it is not bad rather than good and rather expensive for what you get. the wine list is also limited, the wine is sold only to the full bottle or glass (no pichet) and the two methods are quite expensive. the service was correct, but as you only get hamburgers/dads, they should pick up the pace: it is not your French restaurant in the old place where you can enjoy more than an hour and no matter whether the service is relaxed. So, a good place to meet around a glass, but I wouldn't bother to eat more. Oh: the place looks nice and the addition that arrives in the mouth of a little crocodile (but realistic) is a cute touch. Verdict: increase your game or lower your prices"

But since we had the night yesterday, it's my turn to be mean!!! arrived at 9:00 with friends, we thought we'd have a good evening coming to eat in this barbecue. barely arrived, we are quickly placed on a table at the bottom of the restaurant, a ridiculous and d3gueulasse salad arrives on the table, the famous "welcome salt" which should be called "white welcome sauce" so much the 2 salad leaves and the grain of but which fight in them are insipid. Anyway, this one is free and is supposed to "open our appetite." Let's pass, the waitress then arrives to take our order. I'm sorry, but I'm sorry, but I'm sorry, but I don't know what to do. She comes back and starts looking for him, so I tell him "I picked him up, he's here," and I give him... not a thank you, not a smile, just a blasphemed ah and she returns the heels. "Beautiful establishment, fierce atmosphere, but desolating lack of dynamism. After being installed at the bottom of one of the halls, the cards were entrusted to us and... nothing. The waitress didn’t come back to us to propose to wait with a drink. After a good quarter of an hour of waiting, we left the restaurant stating that we couldn’t wait further, because we were afraid that the service to follow was as slow and did not want to stay at the table until the middle of the afternoon.
