"We originally planned to have Sunday lunch at our first choice restaurant, but it was full so the waitress directed us to this pub. We had never been here before, but it turned out to be a great find! We were lucky to get a small table with stools, as the pub was quite spacious. It is recommended to book a table for Sunday lunch as it gets busy - many customers who arrived after us were only offered outdoor seating with heaters. I ordered the beef and my partner had the lamb. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. To our surprise, we also received a side of cauliflower cheese, which was a pleasant addition. I wanted to try the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, but I was too full to move. The pub has a traditional, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended."
