"Translated by Google) I visited this restaurant on Sunday with my daughter and my partner. I haven't seen them in 20 months. If I could give 0 stars to this restaurant, I would. The service was very slap dash. No bread, no salt and pepper, no water, etc., everything had to be asked. The food was horrible and the steaks, which, once questioned, had been reassured, were tender and the best of the 2 steaks offered, was immangeable. When he asked me if everything was fine at the end of the meal, I explained the problem and he just threw a black look and went away. Nothing was spilled on the bill and the girl just pushed me the card machine and told me to hold it! Throughout the meal, we were only polite in trying to speak French all the time. Horrible place and I would certainly not recommend it: Avis d'origine) Visited this restaurant on Sunday with my daughter and partner. I had not seen them for 20 months. "As it is a ritual for me to look up on the TripAdvisor list for places to go and on this day turned out to be Perle d'Orient for the lunch. Had it not be for some of the raving reviews probably I would have never bothered by looking at the establishment from outside! But despite of having a mix feeling overall glad that I did and can judge if for for myself. The decor as well as being typical of most little Chinese resaurants we more or less encounter globally is very tired so much so that in my opinion the hygiene levels were not satisfactory . The toilet room of any restaurant is representative of the cleanliness of the place and on this alone didn't impress. More over once washed my hands with the only cold water supply couldn't bring myself to touch the towels that did not appear to be fresh ! The set up of the only toilet in the place is not child or disabled friendly on all accounts too. The shelves at the bottom end of the room in the little booth like are old and there are considered not to be hygienic, not to mention the poor method of cramping stuff everywhere at the end .Service was go and fetch kind of affair and the food was tasty and though wasn't cheap wasn't expensive either depending one point of view but certainly wasn't as thrilling as some fellow readers commented ! Finally it was good enough for all its worth and yes I might go back if Chinese was what I fancied on the day ."

"We wanted to try something else on this visit to Limoux and thought we were going to Le Tivoli. It was early, about 19.00, so we chose a table outside. Unfortunately, we chose one next to the hedge and that meant that there were many flies I hate. But we noticed that the tables on the wall did not seem so upset. Next time we will remember and make a better choice. We went with the menu du Jour at € 23.00. For what we have, it was a good value, well presented and very well cooked. My companion had a Carpaccio du Boeuf, who was a very tasty choice, plentiful, well seasoned and well preserved. My smoked salmon salad was just as good. I have small pieces of smoked salmon on a bed of beautifully dressed greens with tomatoes and onion garnish. Again, there was a lot in the portion. As a net, my companion chose the magret du canard, which was cooked exactly as desired and came with a side salad and many chips. I chose the fish should be Loup de Mer, which is a favorite. Unfortunately, they had no left, so I was a little disappointed.. But the exchange was nicely cooked and presented with eggplant, tomatoes and courgettes as a garnish, as well as a side dish of potatoes, cauliflower and carrot, all perfectly cooked and were very good. For Dessert, my companion asked a decaffeinated white coffee instead. That was well agreed and, I say, was excellent. I had served the house apricot crumb with ice cream. It was delicious. All made up with a bottle of wine for a very pleasant evening. Our waitress was a light but very efficient young woman who was very helpful and pleasant to all customers. Our only problem of the evening came when the card machine failed. It wouldn't accept if our cards. We finally built the money between us 65 € including wine. We received the revenue to ensure that we were able to verify that no money was deducted from one of the cards. The toilet was interesting. It is by no means salubrious, but it was clean that can be said more than for many other businesses! I would be happy to eat in Le Tivoli again and I intend to try the lunch buffet one day."
