"Finding authentic Mexican in Germany is... challenging. This place is more tex-mex than true Mexican but after dining here you really don't care. The location is fantastic; a minute walk away from the train station/parking garage. While we went in the winter, we saw...a large and spacious patio that I'm sure is filled to the brim during those warm summer months. Even on a Monday evening, the place was packed, with a lively young crowd. Couples, a bachelorette party, a business group, friends, this place appeals to a wide swath of youth. Therefore, I highly suggest making a reservation, it fills up fast! While we are both comfortable in German, there were English people here, and the servers seemed to have no trouble switching between the languages. The ambiance is fantastic, with great dim lighting and yes, typical Mexican decor that was a bit tacky, but fun nonetheless. Both drink and food menu were extensive, and in typical German fashion, very generous on the alcohol. We both had fajitas and were really pleased with the assortment of veggies, dips, rice and beans. Despite being a more complex meal, the food was out in record time, piping hot with no corners cut. The cheese was different though, more of a goat cheese than the usual cheddar, but it went along nicely with the flavour of the chicken and vegetables. The one downside was the dips they give you are really small, we both had to ask for extras because there was no way it was enough for a full serving of fajitas. We both managed to scarf back desserts, and they were just as satisfying as the entree. The churros were a bit more bland than I'm used to, but the chocolate and caramel dips made up for the lack of flavour. If you're looking for something to satisfy the Mexican craving, it's a good place to check out. Be aware it is on the more expensive side, and our bill was close to euros when all was said and done for two people. That being said, we're definitely going to be back!"

"Since we felt that Monday's rest day, I called for precaution and learned that it was open on May 1. So we went on the way and were a little surprised when entering the place that only a single table was occupied with four people. However, we found that a large table was covered in the next room and later we heard that this was for a birthday party from 14:oo Watch was prepared. We were quickly asked for our drink request and quickly served a Pils Euro 2.60. Since I saw a new face, I was curious about the operation if there was a new tenant, which was chased. In addition, she told us that but cook and kitchen staff or the total staff has been taken over and is still there. My wife then opted for Dulbastia that is pork carving with onion and fries Euro 11,80. There was a nice salad plate. The portion was much too large so that unfortunately a part had to go back. I myself took asparagus with ham, flakes and potatoes and crushed butter Euro 16,80. There were white and green asparagus. Since this portion was very large, I let the potatoes lie. However, I must say that these were quite large and it would certainly be better to use both visually and tastefully small cartons. Overall we were satisfied and after we had paid an espresso was offered by the house we liked to accept. We can find that the restaurant can be recommended even after the change of the night. The opening hours have been changed, which I have set correctly in the restaurant description."

"I agree with him that he was written before me. why he gave the service only three stars he had not betrayed. the opportunity, again there was for me the midnight starving and a former critique on rk of the nobleman who praised the ygrec in the highest tones. we are also led to one of the seven tables in the vaulted cellar. I don't like to call him. there are no curtains on the windows, because I discovered the most beautiful muster that spiders could rest in all. carpets on modern grey floor tiles would have damped the stimmpfeife. 1 tulip and 1 tee light in a glass that is still filled with small balls. the tables are covered with white fabric tablecloths and paper serviettes. what I didn't know was that there was only a small selection at midday and the regular card only applies in the evening. this note would have been attached to the ps. not to get the full program that I find worth mentioning. for lunch there is a suppe before, today it was a tomato cream suppe. my medium-sized part of the turned noodles with frutti di mare (13,90 euro) was little varied as regards the seafood. a large number of muddles, in which I unfortunately still on sandy bites, did not enthusiastically me. the ubiquitary square plates on which the whole decoration was dressed do not help. I would like to advise them before the table. 4. this stood directly at the stairs leading into the vaulted cellar. this is the rennnroute of the wetins, which on this day alone managte the service, and with all scurry treppauf and treppab ran. it was too restless."

"we were already often in tafuro, really delicious eating and the pizza dough is simply unbeatable. we never had anything to do with eating. That's why we like to come here. But what I have to complain every time and why it is increasingly not connected to friends in tafuro to eat is simply the service. the waiter, are in no case learned professionals, which always reflects in the service, such as e.g. that eat is not served at the same time, or are constantly forgotten about things, or someone else is constantly coming to the table to bring something or if you want to pay. only this hectic as they are running around and as everyone said, always doing what's up is simply unprofessional. I find the worst if you give up the order and while looking into the opposite, we always feel just finished and we are not in a bite especially in a decent restaurant. It is a family-run company, which is of course great and also remembers the cordiality when the chief welcomes people he knows or who belong to the family. but what is not going on and I cannot suffer at all is the obvious difference that is made who sits on the table. Our last visit was on Valentine's Day, we spontaneously got a table for 18 o'clock, with the note that we would have to go at least 20 o'clock. that was not so bad now, but we came to the point that we were standing on a corner in the two tables, from the two we were looking for one. the food was served as always fast and also tasted well. shortly afterwards a couple came to take right next to us at the table place. they were welcomed at once totally cordially and with a glass champagne. a little bit later, there was also a teller with a little bruschetta ugly, which we did not get. Now I am repeating myself but this 2 classes treatment of the guests I find impossible. After yesterday 08.08.17: After a long time we decided to go spontaneously to the da tafuro because we had great hunger and were close. on the terrace there were still enough tables available, but we had to take back to a table assigned to us because not all were covered. beautiful and good, then we sat with other guests close next to each other like the chickens on the rod. order was quickly taken up as we almost always eat the same. my man a pizza and I the spaghetti positano. a very tasty pasta dish with fried champignons, garlic, capern, rukola; walnuts and olive oil; until yesterday. either the regular chef is on holiday or he had a bad day. my spaghetti swung right in oil and in the juice of champignons and from the walnuts no trace. it tasted not bad, the quality and preparation was not satisfying but because I was very hungry and had no desire to wait again for something I did ate nevertheless. the service ran past us twice and saw my sea in the teller (because we sat outside and the table was not totally flat the teller stood a bit oblique and thus the whole liquid was collected in a corner of the teller) but said no ton. Just as little as the teller were cleared. we pay and she still asked us if it had tasted, I denied why, why was not asked further and this unprofessional arise for me really incomprehensible. during eating the parchment paid and after that they were offered a little bite to drink. again the impression of the master, known or guests who have more money can be treated with preference. shortly after, another couple came to sit next to us on the table and after the order got directly a teller with small bruschettas, which we did not get again....For me the last visit in the tafuro, I don't have to go into such a local place where you're constantly being processed and obviously depending on the pleasure and laune it's treated like that."
