"We stayed here both to sleep and to have dinner during the Cammino di Oropa. The Borgo Antico inn is what seems like a meeting point for the small village of Magnano and in fact I really appreciated the picturesque clientele with whom it was very pleasant to have a chat. The dinner was excellent: despite the almost total absence of traditional Piedmontese dishes, everything is cooked at home and with love and you can feel it! The pesto on the tagliolini was so good that I would have eaten just that without the pasta! The marinated trout was also very good and passed almost with flying colours. Finally, the Magnano blueberry cake was a worthy conclusion to this very convivial dinner which recharged our energy. The house wine in bulk and the choice of bitters are also excellent. The owners are so kind and helpful, they did everything to make us feel comfortable. Applause also to the smiling waitress! I highly recommend this place, we left a piece of our heart there during our journey."
