"Somewhat away from the hustle and bustle of the town center you will find the rustic restaurant “Mampfy”, which serves a variety of burgers and schnitzels. Despite the peak winter season between Christmas and New Year 2024, only three tables were occupied. Most of the restaurant was even closed and darkened. The furnishings are a bit old, but still inviting with a touch of coziness. The service was very friendly, attentive and drinks and food arrived after a pleasant wait. In terms of taste, it wasn't a highlight or anything out of the ordinary that would be worth mentioning, but it was ok. But unfortunately nothing more. However, I have to say a very big “but” for the portion size. Unfortunately, this is nothing to fill you up with. It's just the price that really fills you up. In my opinion, things are going overboard here. The price/performance ratio simply doesn't fit here. I have a lot of sympathy for holiday destinations with tourist taxes and also the stress at times of the season (which, however, was not present here), but I rarely felt “not full”. Unfortunately, I can't give a real recommendation."
