"Having already been to Moules & Compagnie [a fantastic sea food restaurant around the corner from La Pizzetta] with my family the night before, I got speaking to a French couple. They basically told me that they had been coming to Marseillan for years, dined out at La Pizzetta every year, the food was great and recommended that we try it out. Well, they weren't wrong: I was greeted by a beaming waitress Aline who told us that she owns it with her husband. I can be quite a picky customer when I want to be, so something that I loved about this place was them giving me a fresh orange juice with a dash of Lemonade with no fuss, since some restaurants can be a bit funny about things like that. I ordered the Macaroni Diavoleto - their take on Penne all'Arrabbiatta - with sardines, capers and olives in a tomato sauce. It was absolutely delicious. For desert I had a the Pizzetta ice-cream sundae, but once again, being the picky customer that I am, I requested for vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate which they changed for me, no problem at all. We returned again a couple of days ago and that time I tried the Four Cheese Pizza. It was amazing, one of the best I've tasted. La Pizzetta is a family-run business and it shows. I noticed that it has accumulated a lot of loyal customers over the years, and in , her team of waiters and bar staff greeting dozens of diners as though they were old friends makes it a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere in which to dine, and without a doubt my family and I would want to eat there again."

"as we walk along the beach at the Marseillan-Plage we reached the mouth of the canal that connects the Thau-Lagune to the medium sea, le gray de Pisse-Saumes. as it was a nice place, we decided to have a late lunch in le crabe on the first floor of the hotel le richmont directly opposite the port authority capitainerie du port to have the modern hotel building looks pretty ugly, but the restaurant offers shaded outdoor seats with beautiful view of the harbour. one of us tried the fish in noilly prat soße, a local speciality with a vermouth made in marseillan since the 1850s. unusual, but beautiful. the simple omelette with mixed salate was less satisfactory. because of a black allergy, we had asked to leave the hammelette on the menu. instead of telling the kitchen staff, the kitchen was just around the corner and most customers had already left the waiters ordered an omelette with sink without sinking on an electronic device. of course it went wrong and the omelette had to be replaced. it had a strange taste and did not seem to be made with fresh eggs. in august we had not expected to taste tomaten in a French restaurant such as sad Dutch tomaten. with a pitcher of ros wein, a half liter vittel water and coffee we cost 45 euro. very much in view of the quality of food. Nevertheless we spent a pleasant moment in le crabe, because the service was very friendly and we enjoyed the view of the boats and the wine."
