"Having been told how good this restaurant is, we decided to try it for dinner with another couple who had been there before. It was a Friday night and the place was not at all busy although a few people did drift in as the evening wore on. Although the prices of the menus and food were reasonable (we ate à la carte), the presentation was a tad pretentious (I had to try and spoon my soup out of a drinking glass)! and the service was awful and amateurish. The waiter used nearby tables to clear on to thus contaminating clean tables. He then presented the dessert menus to us while we still had our dirty main course plates in front of us and seemed to take offence when I asked him to clear the table first! The service definitely needs attention otherwise this restaurant is going to very raplidly lose clients. We won't be going again and we live in the village!"
