"Incredibly disappointing. For starters, they served our food in literal takeout boxes and gave us cardboard cutlery and single use plastic cups just why? The service was really poor. Despite being one of three tables, our food was delivered to the wrong table, and when the receiving customers highlighted the mistake, the server simply rewrapped the burgers and brought them to us (not really Covid secure given that the burgers had been unwrapped by the other table). Our server was inattentive and unprofessional we had to ask for water three times, and in the end another server had to assist, our one seemingly too busy laughing with another table for 10 minutes. The food was mostly fine, except the buffalo wings, which were shockingly bad, as well as the fact that they seemed to have run out of most of their menu. We really loved Rudy's Diner in Islington, particularly the milkshakes, which weren't available. We had even tried to call ahead but the phone line went straight to voicemail. You'd think that with so many menu items unavailable, they'd have an operational phone or an updated menu on their website at the very least! To add salt to the wound, midway through our meal, staff decided to put on uncomfortably loud music, making it really difficult to hear one another. The only redeeming feature of our experience was that, thanks to the takeout boxes, we were able to make a relatively quick escape."

"I’ve eaten here several times. Pre COVID, every time I go to Bang Bang Foodhall I only eat here or the Malaysia place (I think it’s called Coconut Tree which isn’t pure veggie but has lots of veggie options). Post COVID, I’ve only ordered from Veggie Wok via Uber Eats and it’s my go to takeaway. I order from them at least once a month. The Customer Service is great. The gentleman at the front of house, I assume is the manager/owner and I think his name is Manav. Manav really takes the time to understand your order, how you prefer your food to be cooked and asks for feedback once you have eaten. He’s does this in person when you eat in at Bang Bang but also via the Uber Eats app and they are the only restaurant on the app, I’ve ever received a personal thank you for my order once it’s been delivered Moving on, let’s talk food. Personally I prefer their side dishes or Chef Specials to their custom wok cooked to order noodle rice dishes. I think that’s just because I’m not really a stir fry person but please feel free to try. My favourite go to dish is the Chilli Mushrooms. I love it and my family loves it. My sister hates eating mushrooms but she’s love Veggie Wok’s chilli mushrooms. They cook them really well and the sauce is amazing. Other side dishes I completely love: Chilli Garlic Mogo Chilli Garlic Chips Salt and pepper broccoli Mock Duck Pancakes Chilli Mock Duck Yum, yum. Updated from previous review on 2021-08-18"
