"We had a fab fab meal here following a very kind invitation from Paul. Also a huge shout out to Agnes, you are a credit to the team here your recommendations were spot on every time!! For starters we had calamari scallops with black pudding. I’ve always thought I wasn’t a fan of black pudding but it would appear I have been wrong for years this starter has won me over. The scallops were velvety melt in the mouth. The calamari has reinstated my husband’s faith in the dish as he’s had some underwhelming ones recently he couldn’t stop raving about it. I had to order the Sunday lunch went with the trio. Tim was keen to try the fillet steak Agnes recommended going for the one with garlic prawns which was a great shout really elevated the plate. He opted for the smooth creamy mash which they kindly sorted, as this usually comes with chips what we have dubbed the ‘stairway’ to heaven onion rings which got inhaled, they were crispy but not greasy. My Sunday lunch was a treat I thoroughly enjoyed every element on the plate, all the meats were cooked beautifully. The beef was pink, just how I like it. I was gutted they’d run out of cauliflower cheese but I imagine that would have tasted incredible. We were seriously impressed with the fillet steak, this was cooked rare it was the best that we’ve had in a long time. These guys know their meat they’re not messing around. You’ll be hard pressed to find better!! We shared a sticky toffee for dessert this was drowning in butterscotch sauce which I couldn’t get enough of! The martinis were a perfect end to our meal the barman has got skills! We also had a cheeky flutter in the casino afterwards managed to come out £40 up! Bonus! Overall we would 100% recommend this place, we really loved our experience genuinely the food was top notch. Thanks again for having us we will be back, just not years later this time "

"I booked a table for 12 people for a family meal, we came all the way from Birmingham to eat here. When we arrived there was confusion with regards to seating as the had overbooked. The took up stairs to a table of us, we...informed them that we needed 6 more seats as week booked a table for 12. There was a family sat on the table next to ours and the staff interrupted their meal and moved their table so they could add our additional tables, both my family and the other family were forced to help move the tables around in order to take a seat. Following on from this we sat for over half an hour before anybody offered us menus or drinks. We had two waiters one boy who was extremely polite and the other seemed as if She didn’t want to be there. Some of the guests at the mean where asking the female waitress about the dishes as the menus where lacking in information for example it wasn’t clear if the sausage was pork of beef upon asking here there questions she responded with a lot of attitude and shrugged her shoulders in order to answer question. Eventually we order all our food, we waited for over an hour for the food to arrive , the food was extremely over cooked especially the pizzas and the calamari dishes. I ordered lamb ribs these did not arrive to the table We complained to the waiters and they advised us that they would speak to their managers and see what they could do. After waiting a further 20 mins to speak to anyone, we asked if we could speak directly to the manager in which they sent the same female waitress back who pretended she was the manager. She apologised for the delays with our food and explained there was only one chef working and they are extremely busy (we was seated in a room upstairs so we couldn’t see how busy it was downstairs) she advised me my food would take 5 more minutes... 20 mins later still no food so I asked the waiters is a can cancel my food or get some kind of compensation for the 2 hour wait and he said he will speak to his manager. Finally my food arrived until over 2 hours later after everyone had finished eating and was ready to leave. The food had no flavour at all and the entire meal was dry and overcooked. I then asked the waiter to get his boss as by this point we Where all extremely unhappy with the service and food and the waiter returned saying his boss is busy but they will remove my food from the bill but they can’t do anything about everyone else’s food. So as we are paying we notice there is a £15 service charge and to our understanding this is not compulsory to pay and due to the poor service and bad food we didn’t one to pay that charge so we asked for the to be removed from the bill. The waiter went and came back with his boss (a completely different person to before claiming to be the manager) he told us we had no choice but to pay these extra chargers , we insisted that these were waved due to our experience in which he then began to become very aggressive raising his voice which scared our kids into crying. He was being extremely rude and saying things about us saying how we didn’t spend a lot of money in the shop and he could have taken another booking instead and they would have paid £200 more and being extremely condescending, we mentioned that we understand the wait because they only had one chef (as we where told by the fake boss earlier) he began to get extensive angry and raise his voice further saying that they have 3 chefs and the other member of staff where lying he then persisted to shout as his staff in another language) . This was by far the worst experience I have ever had eating out."

"This was going to be a 1 Star until we spoke to the manager.... We visited Wagamamas for an early Valentine 's Day Treat as we are both off. We arrived before there was a queue outside and were given a high table with wobbily seats. We ordered one main each, I ordered the kare burosu ramen and my partner ordered shirodashi ramen. My partner 's shirodashi ramen arrived at 12.36, ten minutes in we got asked what we were missing, they said they would chase it up with the kitchen. Ten minutes later the same waitress had visited other tables and gave out orders, so we asked someone else who was going to chase it up. A shirodashi ramen (Pork Belly) was presented to me... When told it wasn 't mine they proceeded to find out who it belong to, it was then taken back to the kitchen as they had obviously made up the wrong meal for me. Chased it up again as it had now been 25 minutes and even though my partner took breaks to prolong his meal he had already finished. My meal then arrives after 30 minutes.... But where are one of the main ingredients? The Kare burosu ramen is broth, tofu, mushrooms and greens. My meal had double the amount of broth than normal. I told them I was missing mushrooms, five minutes later a bowl of mushrooms are presents.... three minutes later I was asked is that better now? .... Why yes, to have a meal with all the correct ingredients is much improvement! We have visited Wagamama many times, it 's the first time visiting the Nottingham branch, and everyone 's table always seemed to have one person having their meal and the other doesn 't. One table of three near us had the same problem that one person had finished their meal before the other two even received theirs. There was a lot of staff on the floor so I don 't think it was due to lack of staff. We spoke to the manager and put forward our disappointment, she took my meal off the receipt which was good because it was a ridiculous experience and she said we could have a dessert to share which was nice. She said that there was a problem with the kitchen and lack of communication. If there was a problem with a second of the kitchen then this should have been stated to everyone at seating or ordering stage. We also asked for napkins at the start of my partner 's meal but of course there was no chance in receiving them. Not sure what the answer is on this branch but from our experience and the customers around us something needs to happen! I was very tempted to tell the people queuing outside the door not to bother."

"I visited with a group of friends after working late in Nottingham, for some pizza to eat in the car driving back to Sheffield. They resemble your usual greasy kebab shop-style pizza takeaway, and the prices also match what one would expect from this. The name is obviously therefore a misnomer; the pizzas served here are about as Italian as sushi, chop suey, and bhel puri are. The staff already seemed irritated at having to work late (sorry, but those are your opening hours so don't complain about them). I tried to order, and had to explain my order several times before the cashier got it right. They then tried to overcharge me, and I had to point out what the price should be, what it says on their menu. I then went outside with my friends, as it was too cramped in the miniature store to wait inside. My friends had arrived before me; so were already eating their pizza by this point, and although the staff could see me waiting outside they did not call me in at all when my food was ready. I had to go inside instead and ask how long it would be, at which point they pointed to a pizza which had been sitting on the counter already for a while. This disinterested level of customer service was shocking to me even for a dodgy looking pizza shop. The pizza itself was alright, but did not really stand out from any other pizza I have had for the same price at a plethora of kebab shop pizza takeaways up and down the country. The staff, on the other hand, really ought to be replaced, and for that reason I cannot rate Pizza non-Italia particularly favourably."
