"we had booked over the long weekend in the zähringer hof (in the guest house) and all with half board. this costs 28€ extra and includes a 4-course menu. long talk short senses: qualitatiw very good, also with a certain whip, but... evening: selection for the main course between makrelenfilet and risotto. handcrafted well done, but a risotto is not a main course.2. In the evening: here was the choice of a blurred or rösti with a mirror. how quich quich has already complained about such half board menus: leber! many simply don't like. and again - rösti, even if it was good, is not a main dish. That was dissert remarkable. a ball self-made skyberry sorrow, two spoons of strawberry and a giant mountain whipped cream...At that - sure I am a good eater, but after four walks still easy to be hungry. with other words, the portions were anything but lush. the last night we had ordered the hp and eaten a la carte. very tasty but also very expensive. we had both the same:appetizer: jacobsmuschelen mit sautiert spargel - 21€Main dish: entrecote in red wine sauce with rösti (as supplement by the main dish on the day before) - 29€Dessert: cream brulee. with celestial, earthy, self-made heavenly and costly (a lot of aromes for my taste. the cream went completely under) - 11€1 bottle wein, aperitive, espresso, 1l water-together proud 165€ As I said - qualitatiw very good, but the conditions do not quite agree. for vegetarian, this selection is very, very lean. 1 appetizer and at the main dishes there was nothing on the map.Our room was very nice and blunt, the service very nice even if it can take some very long at high-powered times. our table neighbours at an evening waited for an hour for the main court. it was a bigger company there, but that should not happen. The breakfast was also more economical. basket with counted rolls, a teller with ham/ sausage and cheese - also just counted.Everything in all it was good, but we had expected after the reviews and report by friends much more."
