"Oliver Rieger comes from a gastro family, has learned the culinary arts and worked in the noble address Königshof München. The lady of the house is a restaurant and office businesswoman. And one is extraordinary: The employees are allowed to eat à la carte, because, according to Chef: "You must already know how our food tastes, how to sell it well, i.e. the Bavarian radio, when he informed on television about the restaurant Rieders on TV. On the way out of our summer vacation, I had already seen in the Michelin app for a restuarnt for the second evening, I stayed with the top for the Rieder`s. Reviews such as beautiful ambience with very attentive service. The food was very tasty, all freshly cooked, so we had to taste further dishes for a second time in our holiday: . We had already looked out on the first day after the restaurant, from the outside the restaurant looks like a normal Allgäu family house, a little hidden in a dead end only when you look closer, you can see the small but fine outdoor area, inside it is cozy like sitting with an Allgäu family in the living room. Tables with sufficient space spacing, a few high-quality accessories on the window benches. The tables are polished, dark tiles on the floor. There are some rooms that soundtracks anything but loud, just perfect. The very attentive and well-trained boss comes with the Aperitif recommendation, the recommendation we like to accept on Tripadisor is also made public. We had a sekco with pea mint syrup and a little ruccola, a real crunch (4.90). But after 3⁄4 empty glass we had a small blow away, probably the fruits were still in Vodka or something similar. The menu is small and good. 3 4 appetizers, 4 5 main dishes. There is also a dessert card with 4 5 options. Almost every part is also available as a small part or as an intermediate. There is no menu from the house. I think the couple Oliver and Brigitte Rieger manages to create a family living room well-being atmosphere. It is a close connection to the guests who go to the Riegers. Whether people come from the place or tourists from year to year. The share of regular guests who appreciate the kitchen, ambience and service is correspondingly high. the Bavarian radio, the Rieders is a real pearl in the Oberstdorfer Gastro landscape. We decide to freeze the colonel village goat cheese in goat, but for cabbage soup with cancer meat. as for the double clarified bovine broth with dough pockets and vegetables Julienne, both soups around 5 euros, they were served with a little gray bread double clarified bovine broth with excellent donuts The emphasis is on dough pockets, two airy bright dough pockets filled with meat of light bite, beautiful meat insert. The broth tasted excellent, the cabbage soup excellent. Nicely fluffy creamy, the crab with light bite, some tasting to the sea, which made the pleasure of the main course: Hip steak from the Allgäuer Weiderind, with fresh whistles, two types of sauce and hand-puffed Spätzle (19.80), not only looked good: as an alternative the Schnitzel trilogy stood in the room. Also from the Allgäuer Weiderind, from the Allgäuer Landschwein and from the turkey breast with tasty roast potatoes, the whole was ordered twice during the evening, both people did not create the portions that will probably be my favorite during the next visit. To drink I had two half wheat for the thirst for the Secco, according to which a beautiful red, I think it was a Merlot who lacked some power, he came from Austria. If I have something to complain, then the wine card, which is somewhat too small, many regional Austrian wines, there are a few pickling white wines and some French or Spanish red wines. Back to the hip steak, that was tender pink, but a zig too hard. Hips and fillet, these are actually the favorites of the female sex, because so little fat is there. That was the problem, the hips have unfortunately cut too thin, so they tasted slightly dry, but still in the pass area. Excellent were the two types of sauce. A kind of cream sauce (lightly the darkness was a kind of red wine reduction, has excellently adapted. The late Zle nicely fragrant/fluffy and well salted, slightly still in butter. The paws a dream. For this purpose we were accompanied by a salad that tasted just as much as in the pictures. Green salad nice crispy, down radishes, carrots and cucumber salad. Everything seems to be fresh and to make a conclusion: Here you will certainly not make a bargain, but we will definitely visit the Riegers in September when we return to Oberstdorf (this time for 5 days). Recommendation!"

"The Hotel Restaurant “Saschas Kachelofen” is located in Kirchstrasse 3, not far from the market square. My wife and I have been a frequent guest there, not only this year, but always only guests in the restaurant. For this reason, the assessment refers only to the restaurant and not to the hotel. On the first evening, my wife and I got our food at different times, even though the restaurant was only visited sperily. First I got a salad, then the main dish, then my wife got her salad and later the main dish. The staff was so loud that all guests became witnesses. We ordered an orchard to finish, he was chilled, not as it is usual in Germany room temperature. We talked to the waiter about the maladministration, he told us to the boss. However, he justified his staff's reproach with the words: "If we go down and over it, it can be something like that. He used to work in the kitchen, and he would have thrown pots. In gastronomy, something would be common.” For the special type of temporally offset service he had only lapidare excuses. Also for the temperatures of the drinks. The quality of the food was really good, but if you would like to eat together with your partner and if this is not possible, then you will go to another restaurant on the next visit. The selection is very large in Oberstdorf in this respect, so “Saschas Kachelofen” must definitely improve and work on the mistakes. We can only guess from the visit of this restaurant, although the establishment and food promises good."

"My wife told me about the steam brewery in advance. A colleague of her was recently there and in the last week of November has reserved a table for January and one for February in the steam brewery, the place is known that it is often full. Also in my online search I stumbled over the brewery that offers a so-called cheap lunch table for 6.90 under the week and weekend. Also, as a possible visit, I chose on Wednesday, after the homepage is Wednesdays the trade fair beer day, the measure for 5,90. As a coincidence, we went on last Wednesday from the Oberstdorfer P2 parking lot, shortly after 12 o'clock in the direction of Oberstdorfer Bahnhof, a stone's throw lying the steam brewery. We had not reserved, we were offered a table outdoors (there was a lot to go) and inside (also a lot to go). We moved into a table. From our place we had a wonderful view over the place and could consider driving. Oberstdorf is beautiful. The municipality is the southernmost in Germany. In 1992 the local centre for road transport was blocked. By car arrivals about 1,000 parking spaces can be used at the entrance of the village and by bus to the centre. A pedestrian zone consists of large parts of the village centre, the remaining areas are mostly traffic-smooth. The steam brewery therefore has a very good starting position, almost directly at the station. We study the map and see here, today is Massbiertag, every measure 5,90. I ask the very friendly waiter whether this also applies to yeast wheat, yeast bright and dark. It applies. Fantastic, with me it should be a normal yeast wheat, that was then very dark, but it tasted very good. My wife decides for the Pepsi Light. The 1.2 kilo of witch is served at our table neighbour, which is a serving. We swallow. I had to swallow quickly, the measure was lazy after half, tasteful, but okay. My wife decides for the cheese biscuits mixed with spicy mountain cheese with salad, I for the offered lunch table. According to the map, boss Walter Bauer and his team are preparing a wide range of dishes for guests with love and care. The richness of the offer includes Allgäuer specialties, as well as Swabian delicacies, along with hand-made Bavarian classics and for those who deliberately want to eat light slums and vital food. The kitchen places great emphasis on quality and freshness in all dishes. Regional products from domestic agriculture and from the Allgäu wild stock are processed. That alone, of course, brings the bar a little higher, so we were excited. The specialties of the house are: the Allgäuer Käspatzen, the Bavarian Krustenbraten and the traditional Schweinshaxe. To the homemade cheeses is served in advance a side salad that was beautifully dressed, but mostly consisted of cheap yellow leaf salad (iceberg), but it was tasteful, thanks to the dressage, okay. The then rich cheese puffs of the original Allgäuer type could almost be served in Munich. The cheese was very spicy, almost a zig too strange, for the delicate taste of my better half. I've already eaten your comment on the cheese parrots, but it was tastefully fine. I had the lunch table Allgäuer Leberkäs Cordon Blue. The liver cheese was very crispy, which was very good. Filled with simple cooking ham and cold cut cheese. The added potato cucumber salad was pleasant to eat. Due to the acid of vinegar, this is well suited together with the strong liver cheese. The part was absolutely sufficient, even if I was hungry an hour later. Along with the very spicy (and unfortunately also very powerful) cheeses I come to 3 stars at dinner. The service was very good at our visit, so I come to an overall rating of 3.5 stars. Conclusion: With the description of food on the homepage and on the map you want to play a league higher. Food is too easy, especially if salads lack the right products from agriculture. Recommended only the offered table for 6.90"

"Our summer holiday was not a good star this year. A day before our departure forced an unplanned stay in the hospital emergency room with subsequent All Inclusive stay in the affiliated office for a short-term re-sale. Two nights Munich and the first three nights in Oberstdorf were killed. And with this, unfortunately, the consequent reservations in Michelin's houses also stared. Finally we were glad to arrive on the trip, but the first station in the Allgäu had to organize spontaneously. A reservation in the second star restaurant in Oberstdorf was unfortunately no longer possible in the short term, but in the Romantik Hotel Das Freiberg, which is responsible for a variety of gastronomy in the village, there is also the bib Gourmand-winning fetzwerk. In an original ambience, an unconventional concept is realized here for Allgäuer conditions. Originally composed bistro dishes are served in wake-up glasses, each of which is either regional, Mediterranean or Asian. In each category there is also a vegetarian, meat or fish variant. The standards are supplemented by some daily recommendations. In addition to a small but solid selection of wines, the “Fetzwerk” also focuses on beer culture and offers many suitable craft beers, preferably from the region. Craft beer We try over the map and through all categories and start from the headline “home” on one side with salmon trout and poulard chest. The fish itself is discreetly marinated and accompanied by warm beans of all kinds that receive a fruity effect of apricots. On the other hand, the poularde with carrots, sugar chodes and fine wheat is on the cozy side. The finely cut vegetables are still nicely crisp and both dishes are together that creams offer a connecting element. Lach(s) Infestation Lachsforelle, Beans, Apricots, Waldstaude Patriotic Poularde Poulardenbrust, Carrots, Sugar Beet, Mustard, Fine wheat From the Mediterranean section we continue with shrimps with Mediterranean vegetables and gnocchi as well as baked blue sky risotto croquettes. The latter lack a little of the striking blue sky taste, which means that Bulgur, Paprika, Aubergine and Kapern offer a clear location south of the Alps. Gambretto Stiletto Shrimps, Gnocchi, Minestrone, Olives Round Rice(s) Blue Cheese, Bulgur, Paprika, Auberginen, Kapern Continue to Asia. On the one hand, with the duck breast, which in particular gives the necessary pipe with curry and coconut, as well as the fish chocolates I chose and in which I like the very spicy Wakame algae salad, which is well seasoned with black rice and some pineapple. Duck good All good duck breast, White Herb, Almond, Curry, Coconut, Couscous Asia Cannonball Gemstones Fish chocolate, Algae, Pineapple, Paprika, Black rice Parts are saturating until here. You must not be tempted to believe it's a ****. There are already quite grown glasses with correct capacity, so three glasses per person are absolutely sufficient. Therefore, the desserts now pose a certain challenge for appetite. From the recommended day there is a Crème brûlée from the Tonka bean and from the two standard desserts from the map a Panna Cotta with a compote of exotic fruits. But dessert does not mean to beat the heart without reason. A vanilla parfait, surrounded by chocolate candies and partly covered with chocolate in heart shape, crowns the glass. However, the parfait is still frozen so that it takes some time until it can be eaten without accident and without organizing a wild massacre in the glass. Crème Brûlée Heart and Heart Exotic Fruits, Panna Cotta was Tobias Eisele, who is also responsible for the Star Restaurant "Maximilian's", sends in glasses to the "Fetzwerk" simply charm. The dishes are designed for uncomplicated spooning and if you work from top to bottom, you can best capture the entire chord of each glass. This is all juicy and harmoniously conceived. That there was one or the other, such as the cheese crocket, is the too hard parfait or the slightly dry duck, which was not completely perfect, no leg break. For this, the refreshing concept makes too much fun, as the attentive and simple service also has its good share and remains inexpensive in a very acceptable framework. The glasses are fair and reasonable with a cut of 8 euros. With his criticism, Mr. Duresser has made us curious about the work and of course I have read the very different opinions about it here. The concept was already sympathetic from the description. And I am convinced that if you simply let yourself in, you can see very quickly that here, although in a somewhat uninhabited form, very good quality is offered and the whole is also with fun factor! In any case, we liked it and who in Allgäu looking for an alternative to pig roasts and dumplings, there is a restaurant that can work in the big city."

"This year we have certified (again 3 days break in Oberstdorf). Here we come back. As a “red thread” we had previously listed the well-known restaurants on our list. At the end we were looking for a “Garni” hotel for the nights, but the selected >Sporthotel Menning****Gott be grateful < I had loaded my phone and hit my better half of the day in the “Worldwide Web” lunch, and I planned an offer as a stopover. The past taught us that shortly after these short stops the traffic jam would like to dissolve again. But we always came through the hilly landscape in spark holes, so everything else went as liquid. I looked at the map “Business Lunch” by Allgäuer, the lunch table in Oberstdorf and Umland. Somehow I stayed on a cheese side. Who would have thought that cheese specialities from the Allgäu will be awarded for their quality? Medals at the cheese Olympics, cheese price organic, DLG prices and much more. All this contributes to the fact that the Allgäu cheese road has become a real quality brand over the years. On this page, for a local with the name Zur alte Sennkitchen, which we have made in recent years as a “Touri-Falle”, or not? The old Sennkitchen, at Tripadvisor on place 98 of 103 restaurants, also the Google reviews are “mixed”. But Seppi's meat dish Bubespitzle with onions and roasted bacon cubes on cheese cream with mountain cheese seemed to congratulate the driver of our French. Otherwise, the “Allgäuer Pfanne” is a natural roasted pork steaks on original cheese parrots with mushroom cream sauce, refined against the “mountain” Cordon Bleu – filled with smoke sinks, onions and mountain cheese, on acid spices and roast potatoes. An all-gäu onion rust roast, (250 grams beef steak with onion sauce on homemade cheese parrots for pleasantly fair 18,50 are not excessive prices for us, the Mannheim permanent fraction quasi Oberstdorf Experience. For this purpose, the constant warm kitchen radiates so that we can get nix out of the rest, even not the Ukrainian saddle tractor with goods from Eastern Europe, where the wires are pressed out of the truck tires. After two more hours, the door and a short jam enters whether the cake selection in the shop window of the “Old Sennkitchen”, our views go to a table. We are located in a “cheese restaurant”, whether Allgäuer Emmentaler or Allgäuer Bergkäse, whether cut cheese or soft cheese, all are made according to a craftsman, often centuries-old tradition. We are greeted by a flashy and very sympathetic waiter, short little conversations, he has determined our drinks wishes and seen a white beer from the barrel in his eyes for the Lord? Perfect. We study the map. The famous and traditional restaurant “Zur alte Sennkoch” in Oberstdorf has its name from the original use of the building. In the past, cheese was made in the old Senn kitchen that thought it. I laugh many tempting sounding foods like the Allgäu cheese Steak baked mountain cheese with cranberries, Toa cutlery and salad set (9,80 or the grill plate “Rubihorn” each a roasted cattle, turkeys and pork steak with barbecue sausage, bacon, herbal butter, grill tomato and Pommes frites for sauce 16 Euro. On a table, the kitchen recommends baking the “sennerin” with high-alpine mountain cheese, at the back the wooden spoon of the ceramic chef cooks in my back. We are very comfortable. My wife takes the omelet from the daily menu with hearty high alpine cheese, with roast potatoes and mixed salad. I take the Allgäu cheese steak while I got the second way I got the information from the attentive waiter, this is our “vegetarian alternative – the steak is completely made of cheese”. All cheeses or what? I take the “Schmankerlschnitzel” a pork in cheese cream sauce with roasted bacon and roasted potatoes (10,80). The waiter asked if I wanted a mixed salad. Since I didn’t know how big the main foods have gone out and we had a larger “to do” list on the back of the head, I forgot. We shared the mixed additional salad. He was sweet, the raw food salads fresh. But good. My wife got her omelette, I had to immediately think of “they called him mosquitoes” – Bud Spencer plays a former professional football player who trains a team from Kleinganoven. In the scene in which he is asked whether the Omelet should be made with one or two (Cerier should be roared Bud “ With twenty!!” (Johnenei. 20 eggs were not, but more than three or four, my wife did not make the part. A dream of omelette, creepy fluffy and creamy, no idea how it was made. Only the Zentner cheese in the Omelet could have been cut or disassembled, but everything was very well harmonized. At the same time I got my “Schmankerlschnitzel” a pig (buttersoft and extraordinarily juicy in XL cheese cream sauce. They tasted fantastic. Delicious cheese, slightly reminiscent of fresh allgäu herbs. Only the roasted potatoes had to be salted. On the palate, I noticed a slight muscat taste. All in all a great experience! Conclusion: The menu of Old Senn cuisine ranges from well-known classics to Allgäu specialities, which are often refined with cheese from the region. For every taste there is something on the map, we will definitely return here at the next Oberstdorf visit. Recommendation!"

"In total we were in Ober Allgäu for eight days, on one day we chose Christles as the destination of our hike. The trettach originates south of Oberstdorf near the Trettachspitze and is about 14 km long. From its source the Trettach flows through the same-named Trettachtal via Spielmannsau, Christlessee, Gruben through Oberstdorf In the slopes my wife and I went through relevant guides, at the hotel recommendations that we repeatedly met the Paulaner Waldhotel am Christlessee, clearly, we wanted to make a picture on site. Once, the Hotel Restaurant (approximately 94 recommendation) and the integrated café only enchants guests, but we looked at the hotel. Nice spa, no car, no bus to hear. Pure nature. Only Paulaner beers are presented, also at the All inclusive option (a must for me to book a few days with my wife next year). Below the magical lake, the water is crystal clear, it shimmers blue, green and mint, we discover another café / restaurant that does not like to accommodate hotel guests, also with the name Restaurant Christlessee the ambience truly unique, a true dream. 360 degrees around only huge mountains, many bicycles and hiking trails, which are also ideal for long-distance skiers in the snow. On your own homepage, you will advertise with the slogan Gunn dr amol a bizle Rüe directly at the lake, which never freezes through the steady supply of spring water, make our visit almost unique this week. We're lucky outside, there were mild 10 degrees, there was still a table on the wall free. We study the successful menu, many Allgäu specialties, some kitchen cooks and salads. For food, mainly products and meat from own agriculture or from the region are used. The wilderness is taken by the local hunt. What we noticed, many guests decide about the main meal for sweet, also on the homepage that you advertise for these treats. Kaiserschmarrn (soften well on the neighboring table), potato buffer with cinnamon apple or the baked cheese cake with vanilla sauce. The prices for sweet and savoury dishes, partly with salad, about 10 euros. After our close 5 kilometers long march from the parking lot we had to go to the Jagawirt in Schöllang, also with the knowledge in the evening, and we had a sweet walk in the back of the head. It should be the recommendations of the cook, cheese puffs with green salad (8,90), as well as herbal crimps with rich bacon beer sauce and a mixed salad for 9,90. I had imagined something completely different among the crabs, when a born plum I thought such shrub noodles were with herbs and bacon. Far missed!! A paste of flour, egg and water is first thinly rolled out for the herbs. In a pan, herbs with spices are fried sharply, this herb is then spread on this dough plate and rolled to a stem, these are then cut into thicker slices and baked in a lot of butterschmalz. My wife and I were not surprised. The service was generally very friendly, all done alone. She seemed professional, attentive, always in the background and had everything in mind. The cheese puppets were the knaller. Nice creamy, I think mixed with Emmental and neat spicy mountain cheese, the binding was very creamy, you probably added a Klecks cream rich. The green salad consisted of many different green leaf salads, which was excellent as the cheese. The scratches were also the Mega Knaller. The noodle dough excellent crispy, the herbs had bites, the dark sauce and the tasty bacon matched the eye like the famous fist. I still had cucumber salad under my green leaf salad, fresh carrot pancakes, radish salad (that was sensational) and herbal salad. The beverage prices also within the framework, I had two Allgäuer yeast bees 0.5 for 3.30 my wife two Rhabarber Schorle 0.4 for 2.90. Conclusion: At the next visit we will definitely return here. Recommendation!"
