"Italian pure! In the light of sunshine, I drove to Osnabrück on the late afternoon, the last kilometers on the highway then an orcanic cloud break, is there still April? On the way back there was a glowing sunshine, but perhaps it was also the wonderful pasta I fed in the alimentari in Osnabrück. I meanwhile went to pick up the restaurants after detailed research, after all about 70 Km are not just a cat jump and to take it forward, it was worth it. I was lucky to have a parking lot right across the street, but a street is a garage. In the entrance area there is a large counter with all kinds of delicacies, antipasti, ham and cheese, which can be selected here for the domestic menu. An impressive selection of Italian wines at the front, a concept like I only know from the “Garibaldi in Munich” (where I picked up in the kitchen for a few weeks). I felt right away when I entered the restaurant area, even though the many celebrities smile from the walls are at first a little need for reconciliation. It was just before 6:00 and the young Italian taught me a nice corner table, I was the first guest. Susanne lt. Evidence was very attentive and convinced with kindness and attention to the whole line. On each table the candles were lit and I first realized a famous TV cook that smiled behind me from the frame. Estimated 200 small photo frames spread over the walls, which may be too much for some, I found it cozy. The menu is very clear with exactly ten dishes (also handwritten as a day card on the mirror) with pasta, fish and meat dishes between 15–36 euros. In the normal small card there were also a few smaller dishes and appetizers and of course salad, thank God not to pizza. At noon there are a few cheaper pasta dishes. I ordered grease caps with shrimps and seedlings for 18 euros and a water 3 euros. Greeting from the kitchen a slice of Bruschetta with Mozzarella and a fresh basil leaf, warm baguette and from the olive oil standing on the table (dreamy oil) Susanne (letter) poured into a bowl and seasoned this with a pepper and salt mill, beautiful gesture. Delicious with Chilioel sharp green olives, a good start. I just scrolled in an Italian cookbook, which invites you to read all around the walls (also a nice way to agree to the guest on his dish) when my fatty succini were tabled on a hot plate deliciously dressed by Susanne. The pasta is homemade, with my “friend of cherry tomato” 5 extra points! and fresh plums and freshly cheered parmesan. Deliciously tasted, there was no pepper mill and a hint of garlic, rarely I have eaten so good fatuccine. A perfect hot espresso that passed the sugar test, with two small kitchens that were not extra calculated, rounded off this delicious visit. I would prefer to beam this restaurant to Münster. The ambience as in Italy with beige walls, wooden flooring, beautiful wooden chairs, the tables covered with white blankets and fabric napkins, candles, on each table a salt and pepper mill (wastel will be happy) and a high quality olive oil. The many picture frames, surrounded by artful lamps and various cookbooks to make a fool. The tables as four tables in a long row ensure communication. In the front Theken area some bistrotic, I appreciate the lunches and the fast espresso. A cozy outdoor area is also available. In the shop window there are two funny stone pigs sitting opposite each other at a dinner, very sweet. And right next door in the shop there are finest Italian fashion to buy, so who still needs to look for the right outfit before 6:00."

"Let's go, flop. In the Portobar I was approx. 20-25 times at different times. The interior is very well equipped with great modern lighting and large individual murals that show the Ponte Dom Luís I. The Ponte Dom Luís I is a bridge over the Douro, connecting Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia in Portugal. The food I consumed was always perfect, freshly prepared and well seasoned. Nothing I know about Portuguese cuisine in Osnabrück tastes so good. Only the missing alternative to the roast potatoes was initially a bit bulky because it was quickly fed. But there are alternatives to the lunch table. They've been joined. Irritation also did the often changing (ascending) prices and the change of offers such as the suddenly disappeared breakfast under the week without timely notification on the website. But good, in the beginning something can happen. My greatest criticism is directed at the at least partly very poorly trained personnel. Sometimes brave, sometimes forgetful, sometimes declining and inappropriate to the customer. The cocktail mixers understand little of your craft. Instead of letting a customer explain how to make this and that drink, they could also have an iPad/computer behind the vase and at least prepare the standard recipe of the International Bartenders Association. Instead, Cosmopolitan came warm. Ow. This lack of quality is also reflected in the apparently frequently changing staff. Some people have the impression that they prefer to show their tattoos behind the vase than to learn their craft. Yeah, he's still young. Best time for vocational training in the Gastro sector. Nevertheless, I will recommend the Porto Bar, but draw attention to the pits, and of course continue to visit as a guest."
