Costa Smeralda

Pizza • Pasta • Vegetarier • Italienisch

"Zeche: 49,50 € General: The Costa Smeralda is a traditional address in Osterholz Scharmbeck. A good critique from the restaurant tester (on RK we intended to visit the Costa Smeralda. On Sunday afternoon we watched a larger group, a family and a couple audience. We have eaten well and can recommend a visit. I see the price performance ratio at four stars, in a well-satisfied area. On the Internet: [here link] Service: At the tables you will experience an older Italian, perhaps the host. He acts letting and holding back politely. Italian flossals come unattended and authentic. A younger woman adds him in a pleasant way. Behind the counter is another young female force that sometimes serves drinks at the table. The dishes came in the order pizza rolls with herbal butter, appetizers and pizzas in a very passable sequence. Beverages are quite flotted. So a solid service without a special personal touch. I like to give a close four star rating (3,51). Beverages: A Pils 0.3 l comes to 2,50 €, the bottle of mineral water 0.75 l to 4,50 €; the simple open wines are for the quarter at 4,00 and 4,50 €. Some bottle wines. Overall, an average price level. Food: On the homepage you can see the map. The anticipated offer of antipasti, salads, soups, pasta, carne, pesce including Gambas and Calamari. On one inlay three mussel dishes (9.00 to 10.00 € and on the table grilled sprouts (14.50 € , Doradenfilets (18.00 € , Tagliatelle with mushrooms and salmon (12.50 €) and a pizza with sharp salami and sheep cheese (10.00 €). Both very acceptable. My companion then chose the mussels Diavolo (10,00 € and I chose the snails in Gorgonzolasoße (6.50 € as starters. The shells in appetizer portion size and well fleshy. Tomato sauce (usually ally well seasoned. The (light sharpness was produced by some chilischoten rings. To this end, roasted bread slices. My snails came to the table in very unambiguous gogonzola sauce in a run-up form. A generous and tastefully intense portion or preparation. A well-ground pepper mill was brought to us on request. So smooth four stars for the appetizers. Then two pizzas: the table pizza with sharp salami (10,00 € and the little Giorgio with mushrooms and ham (6,00 €). Both with a slightly beaded yeast rim, as we like it (we are not friends of the hot-thin .... The Giorgio solide and on request with garlic. My salami massed in the middle and then was sharp in concentration. To this end, some sheep cheese cubes and a loosely laid-up vegetable garden made of unavoidable raisin, which can be put aside by thanking God. So also the pizzas for pleasure. There's four stars in there, that's a good score. Ambience: In the Costa Smeralda you can experience an interior that was perhaps ten years ago and earlier en vogue: reddish tiles on the floor, walls in orange wiping technology, pictures from the take-away shop of the furnishing market, snorkely wall lights. The tables made of dark wood praiseworthy stable, but very small dimensions. The chairs made of bright wood and comfortable. The walkways in the manageable restaurant are acceptable. The toilets are modern and generous. On the left of the entrance a covered terrace, which is closed and heatable at the same time as the winter garden. She can be smoked. Overall a passable quality of stay. Cleanliness: Nothing to complain."

Menada

Menada

Kirchenstr. 3, 27711 Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Lower Saxony, Germany

Pizza • Europäisch • Vegetarier • Meeresfrüchte

"Zeche: 42 € General: The Menada in the heart of the neighboring district city has been discussed somewhat controversially by experienced critics. Since the place-branch in OHZ, the restaurant-tester, on whose verdict is usually left, has expressed positively, we were curious if what awaits us. Yes, the Menada is worth a visit. What comes on the plate is tasty and moderately priced. Many others see that so that the recommendation to reserve can only be confirmed by us. The restaurant was almost preserved on Saturday night. The audience sits like we cityrs expected it had solidly composed of optically little striking pairs, small groups and families. The price performance ratio is rated with four stars. The website is unfortunately a construction site where, unlike announced, it is probably not working eagerly, because one still reads the wishes for a happy party and a happy one, after all in 2014. Service: In the service we have experienced three male and a subsequent feminine force, which was also the favorite in terms of kindness. A high-level young man also had an additional word on his lips. The older (Italian only later woke to life at other tables. Another younger man only delivered drinks. So a mixed guest address. After a short waiting time at the beginning, the drinks came quite fast. From the house there was a Ramazotti on ice. Otherwise, the dishes came in a pleasant tact. The beverage prices: 0.3 l Krombacher comes to 2,50 €, the open white wines start for the quarter at 4,00 €, the red at 4,50 €. A price setting in the middle of the level that can be found in restaurants in this category. Four stars for service. Food: The map is manageable with focus on pizza and pasta. 13 pizzas in the price range from 5,50 to 8,50 € can be found, 11 pasta dishes and runs, also 11 expectable appetizers, few soups and some meat dishes with turkey, pork fillet and ragsteak. On the additional card, five more suggestions, including grilled Dorade for the fisherman. There are the already discussed pizza rolls (four, unfortunately cold, and three varieties of dip/painted. Very good the paste of dried tomatoes, good olive oil with garlic and basil (for a pesto little binding, boring the Industrialmayo with garlic note (Aioli I don't like to mention this, but an above average start for the first hunger. Then snails in Gorgonzolas sauce (4,50 € , beef carpaccio (8,80 € and artichoke salad (5,00 €). The snails came in a run-up form and in a number therefore that beat all the experiences so far by length. Also the sauce with good cheese note. Almost five stars! The other two appetizers are a little rustic. The carpaccio cut unusually thick, but this was still due to the good meat quality and the refreshing temperature. In the middle (see photo a type of cylinder made of large parmesan discs. So the cheese is quite young so that it can still be brought into this form without breaking. The artichoke hearts only halved, one probably remained completely for decoration reasons. Also on this plate a lot of rocket and radicchio, at least to the artichokes superfluous. The portion sizes of the carpaccio and the artichoke salad are also generous. My Pizza Diavolo (7,00 €) overlapped over the plate with its wide, uncovered edge. He was crispy and good edible. Otherwise, the pizza baker dominates his craft. The supposedly sharp salami, however, was only anointed, so that the sharpness of perhaps five rings caused chilischote. The host should invest in a good chilisalami. The penne with spinach, champignons and tomato sauce (6.50 € also filled well the plate and were delicious. For €31.50, we have served five tasty dishes, so that at the end deserved four stars can be awarded. To our request, salt and pepper were brought to us in simple strays, the pepper mill came to special order and ground unusually fine. Ambience: Outside in the pedestrian zone in front of the old house where the restaurant is at home, there are neat furniture for the outdoor heaters. Inside everything refurbished and from a casting. A floor with floor optics (both laminate, bare, heavy tables, well-padded leather chairs. All colourfully held in a very dark brown. Walls and ceilings, on the other hand, bright and loosened only with some large-format photos (mixed motifs in Sepiaton . The sophisticated design continues on the toilet. On the left some high tables, on the right predominantly quadratic. The table sizes are well dimensioned and the escape routes still allow encounter traffic. In a niche in the rear right part you sit with a view of a lot of wall (see criticism from the restaurant tester, the high-level young operator sold a table there as a cuddly corner. If you reserve, you should try to fix a window. The reduced style does not radiate unkindness. The counter and two old noodle machines also loosen visually. Italian percussions in the ear. So like four stars for the successful interior. Cleanliness: nothing to complain; the wet rooms not only well-styled, but also fresh and clean."

Restaurant Fidelio

Restaurant Fidelio

Bahnhofstr. 30, 27711 Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Lower Saxony, Germany

Tee • Terrasse • Europäisch • Meeresfrüchte

"Zeche: €48.70 (Two people General: The Fidelio in the big section German cuisine or well-popular closer to it is not easy. It is neither characterized by defensive home cooking (see my review of the Lesumer Hof, nor does it offer the typical regional roast potatoes/Matjes/Sülze cuisine of the Wümmegastronomy. It offers a mix of fish dishes (filets, crabs, matjes, toasts, turkey and duck, carvings, pork medallions, cattle steaks, to wild. There are five soups and five appetizers on the map. It can be said that in Fidelio everyone finds something that has mentally set up a German restaurant in the north of the Republic with the above-mentioned boundaries. Restaurants like the Fidelio have their right to a solid carving evening in the sea of Greeks, Italians and Chinese. When one comes to this expectation, the Fidelio is recommended. The price-performance level is still hospitable and worth four stars. According to our experience, the Fidelio is visited by a more set audience (pairs, families, groups . The Fidelio does not offer a homepage. Service: On Sunday evening only four tables were occupied. So the two female powers had a slight play. They are classically walled in blouse vest and skirt. At the table friendly and for older regular guests they also took time for a chat. The special request for a dish should be clarified in the kitchen. Whether yes and with what result is shown on the plate. There is a short notice. The drinks quickly came to the table and also the dishes at quite short intervals. Since the supplemental salad came as an intermediate, the distance between start-up and main meals was still acceptable. Solid three stars for service. The beverage prices have been constant and cheap for some time: 0.3 l Haake Beck come to €2.40, Köpi and Kräusen are at €2.60. The bottle of water 0.75 l is remarkably cheap with 4.10 €, the 16 open wines are uniformly priced with 3.70 € for 0.2 l. Food: As with the last visits, the food begins with three panned and fried mushrooms on Hollandaise. I already wrote in my last criticism that this is not a good business card. The Champignons extremely hot and low-taste watery. The Hollandaise is not my case, but plays its role in the traditional Fidelio. Then two soups: chicken soup (3.70 € and baked onion soup (3.70 €). My chicken soup in a considerable amount with a lot of inlay (spargel, mettballs, chicken meat, noodles was still sufficiently hot and medium in taste. So solid. The onion soup of my constant companion was served in a lid trumpet. On top much melted cheese and under it full-boiled white bread cubes. This untoasted for completely toothless. From the taste, the soup was classic. As a quasi-interpretation, the supplement salads as a mixture of white wort, beans, carrots, cucumber and iceberg salad. Everything is discreet as I appreciate it for such a salad as a companion. We chose carving dishes that always liked in the past. Once the hunter's carving with the special request for sauce with green pepper and pommes (12.80 € and once the woodjack steak with fried mushrooms, onions and roast potatoes (12.80 €). The fact that the sauce is napped in the kitchen of the Fidelio on the Schnitzel was known to us earlier. Many critics think this is a sin. I don't like it either, but my constant companion knows about it and doesn't take a stand on it. The scavenger fried and with a chessy panade (i.e. the non-boiled surface. The cream sauce is lavish and the green pepper to sprinkle to give her whip. My lumberjack steak proved to be a rather thick slice of the pig's neck, grow well and only cooked medium plus. I am now a member of the group of those who also appreciate pigs. But for that, the meat quality must be very good. A continuous neck piece with fat content is not suitable for this. Moreover, as it was not seasoned, it tasted ordinarily at the necessary chewing work. So rather choose the panned scavengers with desire for absent sauce. My other supplements moderately. A pepper mill was brought to our desire. The portion sizes are also sufficient for the greater hunger. For the food, I would like to award only three stars this time because of the unsuccessful neck steak. Ambiente: The restaurant itself is located in the souterrain of a multipurpose building. In addition to the spacious restaurant there is a bowling alley. The small outer area is also deep, so well shielded, but not suitable for seeing and seeing. The spacious entrance area, from which restaurant, toilets and bowling alley leave and which offers a protected smoking corner, including seating, is positive for smokers. The Fidelio is very spacious. The basic colors are yellow and red, the floor tiles support this colourful sound. The lamps and the wall decoration fit and it results in a very harmonious and balanced overall impression. The walkways are very generous and on the tables it will not be narrow. On the tables two fabric blankets. To the left of the entrance, a row of well-divided fourer tables, a larger area to the right, which continues on a small podium. Cleanliness: The Fidelio makes a well-kept impression."
