"Upon entering this charming restaurant we were greeted with a friendly smile by the owner. Seating was very comfortable and the colors soothing after a frantic day of chasing down tourism paperwork in Passau. We ordered Spezial Dunkel beers from Hacklerberg which were served...alongside a mild sour dough bread with two spreads: one a yogurt cucumber, and the other a bell pepper tomato with unusual seasoning. As I am allergic to bell peppers I was unable to try this spread so I cannot give you more information about those flavors. Our main course was the Gourmet-Platte Croatia which was brought out on a great platter and flambéed at the table. This dish consisted of various grilled meats including skewered pork, pork cutlets, coarse beef sausages, and beef liver arranged atop a bed of pommes frites (french fries) and djuwetschreis. This is a Slavic vegetable rice dish again with unique seasoning, more savory than spicy, but because it contained bell peppers I was unable to experience the pleasure of this part as well. The Gourmet-Platte Croatia can be ordered for or more people and comes with a mixed salad atop mild sauerkraut. The price for two people was and including beer our bill came to just under A feast well worth the cost. It easily could have fed people!! Our host, Herr Zugic, then brought us a digestive of Slivovitz which is a high proof distilled beverage made from plums and tastes similar to a good grappa. While we enjoyed our beverage, he told us the story of the frequent flooding of the Danube River and how the businesses along this river cannot get insurance. He rebuilt his restaurant out of pocket after the last flood in which filled his first floor and part of the second with mud. He dug it out, repaired and remodeled it himself. If you are ever in Passau, Bavaria I highly recommend trying this sweet and romantic restaurant. I know we will be back! Tchuss! Location: Ober Donaulande Passau, Bavaria Tele:"

"In a Passau group, I randomly found the evidence that there is another Indian in the Roßtränke, who also offers a table in contrast to the Indian in the Römerplatz, which was opened only in the evening. The address was first known to me and indeed: at the same time, a Spanish restaurant Casa Espagna, probably no longer existed when it was listed here. Of course, that woke my hunting instinct and I took the next opportunity to stay in Passau to test the location. Key data: Access is flattering, but inside it is a bit narrow for wheelchairs. Parking? In the old town of Passau? There's nothing. It is necessary to avoid publicly paid offers. I entered the square at 11.15, so it was quite early and also the only guest. I think I need to talk about something else you can eat here again, especially because the place is not at the most important pedestrian streams in Passau. The local has its own Facebook page, where it is also written regularly. [here link] SERVICE: I was kindly greeted by an Indian girl in traditional Indian clothing, could also pick up the table, as you take one, where you can make good pictures and have a good overview. I have the menu, the candle at the table was lit and also got time for the drinks. The handling was very friendly, a very minimal opening uncertainty was still recognizable, but it is not to chalk now. All in all, I was fully satisfied, that means 4 stars. ESSEN: There was a lot of light here, but there was also a small shadow... later. The menu is the usual brewery folder, this time the leaf carriers contain brand new, without signs of use. There is a lunch ticket with cheap meals with soup or soup. Basmati rice and salad and then a very plentiful selection of different mainly meat dishes. The numbers next to the courts went up to 99, as you often know from Asians or Greeks. It seems to be scared here, someone couldn't find anything. But I find the fear unfounded, even the pictures on the Facebook page have made a real appetite and with a few less dishes on the map the choice would also fall lighter. My choice was: M 8 Karahi Chicken: Chicken meat with peppers and onions, tomatoes in curry sauce, slightly sharp ' I decided for basmati rice and salad, although the soup would also have been very interested in me, but I also wanted to have rice for dinner. 7,90, a reasonable price for a full-fledged lunch. After a reasonable time, the salad came to the table first. Here I was a little disappointed. There was nothing Indian in the salad. Leaf salads, cucumbers and tomatoes. There is a white dress that probably comes out of the bottle. It's a shame if a German salad is so, but it's a vinegar oil dressing. It is also possible to prepare and is even cheaper. But enough, now good: As a main dish there was a bowl of Basmati rice, nicely loose and seasoned, with a small bowl of meat / vegetables etc. At first glance, it looks pretty little, but it wasn't. It was very aromatic and only slightly sharp. For me as a lover of extremely sharp cuisine it should have been a bit sharper, my wife would have been too sharp. The chicken meat was nicely juicy and not dry fried, the vegetables crisp and with bite. It has tasted very well, very many flavors that I otherwise do not have in the gastronomy. The food definitely made me curious about the right dishes. It would have been more than 4 stars if the salad had not prevented it. Too bad, either you let it go in an Indian food, I don't expect it or he gets an Indian round. Since eating very well 4 stars. AMBIENTE: The place is located in a small alley, due to the structural situation it is a relatively narrow space, which nevertheless becomes cozy thanks to the decoration, decoration etc. and has nothing of fast food snacks etc. Here you can also go for dinner in the evening when you stroll through Passau. The location is when something is hidden, yet central between the Danube and the pedestrian zone. It runs discreetly in the background Indian music of different directions. Tables are beautifully covered. All in all, this is worth 4 stars. SAUBERKEIT: Here too the homework was done, in my environment everything was clean, but it is still brand new, cleanliness is always easier to achieve than if the tooth of time was already a guest. PLV: Here, too, I think that the food was worth his money, except for the unsuccessful salad everything was fresh and good, one wonders how to live of it. But there is probably a mixed calculation of midday and normal operation, so there are also 4 stars. FAZIT: It is definitely an alternative if you want to go to Passau, and you do not want to go to Asia, Greek or Italian and try something new. This Indian is also closer to the shopping passages/ZOB as a farmer and has also opened noon. I hope enough people will see this in Passau and go there. I would like to occasionally test the right menu."

Die Hauptgerichte waren vom Garpunkt her absolut perfekt.
