"Delightful cafe overlooking the river which l last visited some years ago under a different name I think. It's dog friendly and there is paid parking next to it at the traffic lights. Interesting menu (although the specials clipboard wasn't offered to us on a Sunday lunch time). We didn't want a big meal so I opted for the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, which wasn't cheap. As the picture shows it was immense and very good value. My lady opted for the even more expensive open steak sandwich and this cost the missing star. The steak was really good and there was plenty of it. However the bread was very hard to cut and the onions were just overwhelming and dominated the very large two piece open sandwich. Half of it with less onion and easier to cut bread we would happily have paid two thirds of the price for. My lady is hard of hearing so maybe tone down the music?
