"Wir waren auf der Rückreise und kamen zufällig in Penzberg ins Shiva - welch Glücksfall! Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, nicht „plüschig“, dennoch landestypisch eingerichtet, dazu passende Hintergrundmusik (nicht zu laut), sehr aufmerksame, nette Kellner, bei denen man sich als Gast sehr wertgeschätzt fühlt, große Speisenauswahl, ausgesprochen leckere Gerichte, Preis-Leistungsniveau absolut angemessen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man im Gastgarten sitzen.Wir hatten gewählt: Butter Chicken, Murg Tikka Marsala, Fisch Mango (Seelachsfilet in Mango-Mandel-Sahnesoße), Nan (mit und ohne Knoblauch). Als Vorspeise „vom Haus“ gab’s Papadam Chips mit 3 Dips (Minz-Jogurt-Dip, grüner Chili-Dip und einen roten Dip), nach dem Essen einen Digestif auf’s Haus.Schärfe der Speisen kann nach Wunsch variiert werden - die Gäste am Nachbartisch bestellten "extra scharf", wir hingegen eher die milde Variante - alles wird gerne so umgesetzt. Wir kommen garantiert wieder und empfehlen dieses indische Spezialitätenrestaurant als 1A-Tipp sehr gerne weiter!"

"Wir waren zu acht beim essen und hatten reserviert....dann erst ne mega Begrüßungszeremonie an der Tür von den Kellnern!War echt nett gemeint aber man kanns auch übertreiben.Dann wurden wir zum Tisch geführt und das war ein Tisch für max.sechs Personen war echt eng und ungemütlich!!Aber das essen was wir hatten war wirklich top!!!tolle Vorspeisen total saisonal und Pizza ein Traum....Muscheln super frisch....Also essen kann man hier wirklich sehr gut"

"Well, I came late into Bad Kohlgrub from the Munich airport due to Lufthansa flight from Hamburg being late by over an hour and the locals did not serve anymore food, hence being 'starved ' all day, I needed to eat. Hence the Indian restaurant was the only option. The owner helped me somewhat, with the selection Due to certain vegetables allergies, like peppers /paprika, green,yellow or red, chilli, tomatoe or cucumbers which I have explained to Mr Avtar, I had ordered Lamb vindaloo with a side dish of veges. The dish was tasty, including a generous serve of basmati rice, a small serve of lamb in butter sauce and a small serve of veges in a butter sauce. So far so good, the place has sitting statues of Budda everywhere, thus I assumed he believed in good karma. However the end paying price was just too much, over 31 Euros. When I check the bill, the guy charged me 11 Euros for the vegetable side dish of Indian vegetables. Does he think this will bring him 'good karma '??? Beware of the Indian scorpion sting...."

"We went here recently for supper and whilst neither my husband or I are overly critical when it comes to restaurants, I can honestly say that wild horses would not drag us back to this place. The service was dreadful, my food came 30 minutes before my husbands and the waiter was only insincerely apologetic. The quality of the food once it came was average and overall the place seemed chaotic. A group one table down from us sent some food back and the waiter looked inconvenienced to say the least. There are so many great restaurants in the area, so I would not recommend this one."

"Leider konnte bekam ich nichts zum Essen, da der Betreiber völlig Planlos und unorganisiert war. Die Platzreservierung über 25 Personen, wurde vor mehreren Monaten durchgeführt. Die Speisen wurden im Voraus bestellt. Es gab aber nur Platz für 20 Personen und mal fühlte sich wie in einer Sardinenbüchse. Auf Anfrage hieß es er stellt 2 Stühle dazu. Das ist leider nicht tragbar da man sich beim essen, nichteinmal bewegen könnte. Auf meine Aussage dass ich mit meinem Mann wieder gehe meinte man, ich solle warten, er macht etwas zum Mitnehmen. So etwas geht gar nicht !!! Ich habe dieses Angebot ausgeschlagen und meine Gruppe mit 20 Leuten alleine gelassen. Vor der Türe trafen wir Gäste die Reserviert hatten jedoch wurde gesagt dass die Reservierung storniert wurde ohne bescheid zu geben. Der Rest unserer Gruppe musste 2 Stunden auf´s Essen warten. Ich persönlich werde diese Lokal nie mehr aufsuchen. Das Essen und Ambiente scheint gut zu sein, jedoch kam ich ja nicht dazu es auszuprobieren."

"The pizzas were well occupied by the four cheeses. Maybe a bit longer in the oven so that the cheese still browns. But the pizzas were so good. The soil may not taste typical italian, perhaps more oily? But was definitely crispy and tasted very well."

"I always liked the food. Until today we order chilli con cane there cheese was simply mixed in. The pizza bread without a garlic. Schnitzel and pommes.... if it were pommes, however, you can throw these stubborn things on the wall and they would stick and are half raw! We called to complain. The chilli is probably not cooked there on site after that was discussed and the boss himself told me to scream if I want to ruin his business. Well, as he behaves, he does this by himself I no longer order there!! !"
