"Before the war, Cafe Tromel was one of the prime social centers in Plauen, with dining, cafe, rooftop terrace, orchestra, dancing, bowling, etc. Plauen had 120K population and people from all over, including Hof, would come to Plauen and enjoy everything Cafe Tromel has to offer. As it did not fit into the "socialist picture," it was torn down after the war. After the reunification, a very small nostalgia-type cafe was opened on the Klostermarkt. The breakfast offerings are wonderful, their cakes are wonderful, and the service is good. Outdoor dining on the Klostermarkt is also available (albeit smoking is allowed outside)."

"the hotel in the center is ideal for the discovery of plauen, even during the days in the former alaun hills, which is in the immediate neighbourhood, and this is grateful a united one. the rooms in the hotel are well equipped, the service is really good and reasonable. the breakfast is really good, like the kitchen. "on a rainy evening and short closed we visited the guest house to satisfy our apetit in Greek.Of course in typical language / Greek) we welcomed the personal (maybe this was also wrong). the local was not well visited, a 4-stable and a 2-stable were occupied. after we got a place out and confirmed by the service, we took place with still great joy on the gaumenschmaus. After 5 minutes (locally as described was not well visited) we received the menu.A request for a drink was unfortunately not made. After another 20 min, a service power tried to us and asked if we would like to drink something (the throats were already dried). After this was done, it took a certain time again, until we were able to get our feed request. in the meantime, other guests visited the locality. to our surprise these guests also got a quick drink, even their foods were more than the insolent at the place (that sounds now envious, but we are not)! our order reached us after waiting for a long time (the visitors only slowly filled the locality) but finally. tasty and very plentiful we read it despite all unkindness then still taste. when one of the sercice employees last handed us the bill, we had not felt quite welcome, shame! there was a ouzo and a second almost at the same time after. we sattly left the spaces, but we avoid this house in the future, because we think that, with a little more gas friendship, it is also acceptable for longer waiting times at full house."

"Die Bedienung war unter dem Niveau. Mehrmals haben wir um Getränke gebeten. Nach einer 1 Stunde Wartezeit haben wir die Bedienung, quatschen versteckt hinterm Thresen, aufgefordert uns die Rechnung zu präsentieren. Kein Kommentar zum Hinweis Warum wir keine Getränke serviert bekommen . Sowas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Unser Treffen mit 8 Freunden war ein Reinfall. Diese Gaststätte kann man niemand empfehlen. Unfreundlich, schlafmützig, keine Nachfrage nach Getränken, Tische waren verdreckt, Bedienpersonal in kurzen Shorts bei diesem Preisniveau, kein Abrechnungsbleg. Mal sehen wie lange diese Gaststätte sich noch hält. Anderen Gästen ist es genauso ergangen. 21.30 Uhr waren alle Gäste einschließlich mit uns gegangen."

"if I have fun on a really good cocktail or on a glass wine, I prefer to go in stylistic break. the atmosphere is simple, the service is always beautiful and courteous, even if the last is full again (especially Friday and Saturday evening from 21-22 clock.) which has also appetit on a small snack, is very good here. the bar has a good card with various cold and warm foods. I can recommend to anyone who feels like a bag after work, but it can be smoked in the bar (that doesn't like everyone.)"
