"We had a table on 14 August. excellent meal: ideal place, classic recipes as well as more sought-after, presentation of very contemporary dishes, copious, efficient and flexible service, good menu children (with a chocolate marrow in dessert, it changes ice 2 balls...).2 small tips for the chef: a real vegetarian dish and rice or wheat in choice in the child menu."

"The lunchtime "menu du Jour" sounded simple but plain - assette de crevettes, loin de porc with Noirmoutier potatoes and dessert. The meal was anything but simple - 8 or 9 enormous meaty prawns with and excellent mixed salad and a pot of mustard mayonnaise followed by, probably, half a pork loin in the most delicious sauce with a wire basket of beautifully fried potato cubes. The desert was delicious too.At 12 Euro 50, not the cheapest meal of the 3 week holiday but certainly the best and the best value. Half a litre of decent red wine for 8 Euro wasn't bad either."

"Exceptional location with port view, very warm service and excellent cuisine! I recommend the menu of the castle that allows to have a variety of very good dishes with fresh seafood. The waitresses Brigitte, were very pleasant and took the time to tell us a few little anecdotes! We loved it! We recommend and return without hesitation! From the entrance, to the dish, then the dessert that was changed to us for the occasion of a birthday and to finish with a digestive and a coffee. Thank you very much for this meal that was key to our stay."

"for our first sun lunch, we chose the terrace of this restaurant. We were very well received. We were facing the port and the castle.I took the menu. There was a tuna tartare, a chorizo cod with fresh pasta and a chocolate dome. I've had a treat. I don't remember the price. one thing is sure, if we chose it, the addition should not exceed €25/28. If I have the opportunity to return to porn, this is where I'll go to eat."

"Came here for my main summer holiday, and wasn't disappointed. Very clean and friendly site. In a fantastic area of France. Easy reach of several beaches either by cycle or car. Close to a beautiful canal with kayaking which is cheap for 30 Euro for 3 hours. Picnic is lovely area and is a very picturesque ride of just 2.3 miles from the site. The site is clean and pools are brilliant. They have various theme nights in the bar area, such as a band, magician, sport nights, bingo. My only downsides which do niggle me.....lack of toilet seats...I know in France they do it different....but I was so glad to sit on a normal seat in the UK. Plugs or warmer water in the sinks for washing up, due to the lack of plugs I noticed that majority of people don't take a bowl to the sinks and they use up all the hot water rinsing on plates....Please put plugs in the sinks.....its better the the environment using less water. Last moan is the food....its fantastic but in general only available in the evening, which is a shame if you fancy a hot snack relaxing by the pool. However if you could ignore my moan it's defiantly up there with some of the best sites. Loved it!"

"Hello to the very friendly team of CRESCENDO in Pornic 44.We come from time to time. This noon Sunday, February 18, 2024 I was particularly fond of the 8 squid donuts in the Roman. On the other hand, for my husband, the savoyard's bounty of ravioli. Fortunately there was roquefort sauce with otherwise it would have been very pale. Sand roses (very good idea and very rare in a cafeteria) at the dessert buffet are very good especially with chocolate mousse. I was entitled at the beginning of January to a frangipane cake (confectioned on site) with my fidelity account and this cake proved very good..Thank you to Alexander whom I ordered it. For a moment the fries have declined in quality, we prefer those of pre-classical but more crispy and skinless!! Too bad we can't have a waffle on Sunday...Thank you for Katia's kindness that has always a big smile. The whole team is very careful for us. All staff are very pleasant.I recommend this establishment. Very cordially Sylvie B"
