"Seit dem 1.11.2020 gibt es einen neuen Besitzer. Ausrichtung jugoslawisch Sehr lecker! Die Herren mögen das gut gezapfte Budweiser und das noch in der Abendsonne, draußen im Biergarten..........unbezahlbar! Montags beim Steaktag gewesen, wie immer alles gut gemacht, das einzige, was zu bemängeln wäre, ist die zu kleinen Steaks. Ich hätte mir sowas wie ein 400 gr Schweinenackensteak und Steaks nach Gewichtsangabe gewünscht, damit mein begleitenden Männer nicht sagen, hier gibt's nur Ladysteaks."

"Wir waren Samstag Abend gegen 18:00 hier aufgeschlagen. Neben einer Gesellschaft im Nachbarsaal war erst ein Tisch besetzt. Die erste Runde Getränke war schnell serviert, dabei kam auch die Bemerkung, dass das Essen wegen der Gesellschaft heute etwas länger dauern könnte. Nach ca 15 Minuten wollten wir dann auch Essen und eine zweite Runde Getränke bestellen. Trotz mehrfachen Bemühungen dauerte es noch mal 15 Minuten, bis wir wieder bedient wurden. Man nahm unsere Getränkebestellung auf und ließ uns dann, jetzt also nach über einer halben Stunde im Restaurant, wissen, dass es heute gar kein Essen mehr geben werde. Wie man an einem Samstag Abend mit geplanter Gesellschaft überfordert sein kann, den ansonsten erst zweiten Gästen des Abends ein Essen zu servieren, ist mir unbegreiflich. Dann sollen sie bitte einen Anschlag draußen machen und uns nicht ein halbe Stunde vergeblich rumsitzen lassen."

"Das Haus liegt im Ortsteil Stommeln von Pulheim direkt an der Hauptstraße und hat als eines der wenigen Lokale auch montags geöffnet. Die Ausstattung ist innen gemütlich und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und flott. Montags ist "Schnitzeltag" und donnerstags gibt es laut Karte Reibekuchen. Ansonsten weist die Karte eine deutsche Küche aus mit einer ausreichenden Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Die Portionen sind relativ groß und preiswert. Jedoch kann man auf Wunsch auch kleinere Portionen erhalten.Bei unserer Besprechung wollten wir draußen sitzen. Das Lokal besitzt zwar wohl auch einen Biergarten nach hinten raus, jedoch war dieser geschlossen. Vor dem Lokal stehen zwar auch Tische und Bänke (normale Garnituren), die jedoch nicht sehr bequem sind. Auch ist der Lärm direkt an der Hauptstraße relativ laut und störend."

"Sehr verblüfft über die Änderung des Restaurants haben wir kurz dort etwas im Gastraum getrunken und das Essen zum Mitnehmen ausprobiert. Alles war frisch, gut zubereitet und Kropok sowie Frühlingsrolle knusprig und nicht fettig. Als Einlage für die Suppe hatten wir Hühnchen ausgewählt. Ebenfalls sehr gut abgeschmeckt und mit frischen asiatischen Kräutern versehen. Die Ente war knusprig, Gemüse wie auch Reis waren separat verpackt, so dass die Ente auch knusprig geblieben ist. Das Gemüse bestand aus 10 verschiedenen frischen Sorten, wie Erbsenschoten, Sojasprossen, Pak choi, Brokkoli, Paprika , Zwiebeln Möhren, Blumenkohl, Zucchini und Pilzen. Es war herzhaft abgeschmeckt und hätte jeden Vegetarier glücklich gemacht. Wir waren rundherum glücklich."

The creativity and exclusivity of the cuisine were impressive. Each dish was a work of art that enchanted both the eye and the palate. The location of the restaurant impresses with its easy accessibility and excellent parking options. The ambience is inviting and stylish, so you immediately feel at home. Special praise goes to the Auerhahn team. The employees are the soul of the house friendly, polite and extremely professional. The wine recommendation, an excellent Primitivo, was a complete hit and harmonized perfectly with the food served. Service was attentive without being intrusive, a rare and valued trait. The personal touch in contact with the team was particularly noteworthy. My parents and my friend Saskia had very pleasant and warm conversations about the food and drink selection. This personal and warm atmosphere made our visit an unforgettable experience. The photos that capture the team and the atmosphere speak volumes. You can see the commitment and joy with which the employees do their work. Not to be forgotten are the clean and well maintained toilets and the impressive selection of drinks and spirits. The proximity to the motorway makes the restaurant easily accessible and is ideal for anyone looking for an exquisite meal near Sinnersdorf. Overall, the Auerhahn Restaurant offers an all round successful experience. From the excellent cuisine to the charming ambience to the first class service – everything is just right here. A must for every gourmet and lover of fine gastronomy. Finally, we would like to say that the Auerhahn Restaurant is our first choice if we want to experience good food and a great evening. We will certainly come back to “Zum Auerhahn” again and again. Parking: Proximity to the motorway, quick arrival and easy orientation."

"Man ist ja manchmal überrascht, wie sich Dinge so fügen. Wenn man die Hofburg im Dorf ist. Wenn man das Stammlokal der KG ist. Wenn man direkt am Marktplatz und damit im Epizentrum des Dorflebens sein Lokal hat. Dann wundert es einen schon, wenn man um 18:00 Uhr nach der Kinder- und Familien Sitzung darauf hingewiesen wird, dass die Kinder, die an der Theke ihre Limo trinken, störend zu laut sind. So holt man sich weder die Eltern als Gäste, noch die nächste Generation ins Haus. Vielleicht passt ja Gourmet Tempel und Dorf Schänke nicht so gut zusammen wie man dachte.
