"I was actually a bit dissapointed with the restaurant. The ambience is fine and in summer it must really be lovely to sit outside, no doubt. But, I would'nt go out of my way to visit the restaurant. If you are in the vicinity then...It's ok. The menu was pretty small and not really appealing. Somehow they are trying to combine regionality with gourmet and this does not work out that well. Their winelist is also below average for a restaurant in this category. Most local wines from the Bergstrasse but this is not everyone's taste. The starter, I found was too pricey for a minute chicken assortment. It did look pretty though. I had game for mains and the portion was very reasonable. The game cooked to perfection which was soft and moist. The gravy reduction was way to strong. Vegetables cooked to perfection as well. The service is very friendly and helpful"
