"Booked Sunday lunch for 3 people on 21 July 2019. Waited 40 minutes for the starters. Then almost the same for main course. 2 people left after ordering due to the wait. Other customers were also kept waiting. Staff kept apologising and offered free drinks. Delay was due to catering for a christening party. I complained to the manager, who just paid lip service, apologised and then walked away. Table was booked for 1 p.m. Main course was served at 2.20 p.m. As I am diabetic, I was beginning to feel ill due to the lack of food. Will NOT be visiting again and will NOT recommend to others. Staff were continually apologising. It was the chefs who were delaying preparing the food."
