"From Bern a mere 15-minute-ride with the S-Bahn brings you to Rosshäusern and the pleasant countryside. As its name implies, Restaurant Bahnhof is located just opposite the train station. It offers very good food in an uncomplicated and relaxed atmosphere. The service was attentive and efficient throughout the dinner. The menu puts focus on seasonal produce and traditional Swiss specialties. I had some white and green asparagus as starter. They were served with Hollandaise sauce as well as a homemade herbs mayonnaise (to die for! . As main course I chose the catch of the day: zander fillet in a saffron sauce, served with asparagus. Very tasty and generous portion. As dessert I indulged myself with a refreshing rhubarb and strawberry parfait. The bill remained within Swiss (high price standards and amounted to CHF87. But given the very good food, I will most certainly come back."
