"El camarero súper amable y atento. El arranque buenísimo, los chocos muy ricos y el cazón en adobo espectacular. Para mi lo más rico de las tres cosas. A nuestro lado había un matrimonio que pidió un arroz caldoso que tenía una pinta brutal. Habrá que probarlo. Con lo que probamos nosotros quedamos muy contentos. Y dada la amabilidad del camarero, el buen servicio y la pinta de otras cosas que salían...volveremos."

"I've been warned once that I wasn't recommended to sit inside and now I know why. "Durante nuestras vacaciones en Rota, fuimos a cenar a Alma Verde en dos ocasiones y las dos veces me quedé encantada. Se nota que los platos veganos que hay en el menú están pensados para ser veganos y no “veganizados” a base de quitar algún ingrediente del plato en cuestión, lo que hace que estén buenísimos y no parezca que les falta algo. En una de las ocasiones probé el raviolo vegano con salsa de calabaza, que estaba riquísimo y la pasta (que se nota que es casera) estaba increíble. La otra vez que visitamos el restaurante probé las albóndigas de berenjena con salsa de tomate y judías verdes. La salsa estaba buenísima y las albóndigas también muy sabrosas. ¡También tienen algunos vinos veganos! Cuando vuelva a Rota volveré a ir a Alma Verde seguro."

"We had been here before and enjoyed our eclectic array of tapas, but the prices have gone up significantly. The service was friendly and good this time and the wine, a dark red Rioja, was excellent considering the price €3.40/glass), smooth, robust, and oakey, just the way I like it. It was the best value on the menu. Not all that hungry, I ordered the BarBQ Ribs Tacos €6.90/two) and Chicken and Vegetable Gyozas six for €6.50). The tacos were okay, a bit flavorless, they could have been much better. The gyozas were crispy and tasty, and the sweet chili sauce was a nice addition, but they were rather small and gone in just six bites. Even though I was not famished, I left feeling unsatiated and a bit disappointed. Having paid almost €24, including tip, it did not seem like a €24 meal even though the wine was an added value. "Estuvimos hace un mes y nos encantó el lugar, sirven los tercios fríos, y las tapas están muy buenas. Por desgracia, cuando volvimos en octubre lo encontramos cerrado, y parece ser que lo van a reformar para hacerlo más moderno , es decir, que le van a quitar toda la gracia y se lo van a cargar. EDIT: Tal y como temía, el sitio lo han actualizado . Aparte de perder su encanto y convertirse en uno de tantos, la comida ha pegado un bajón considerable en calidad. "Comí con mi pareja a finales de mayo en la Bodeguita de Retama bastante bien, chanquetes y acedías, con un servicio bastante rápido. La sorpresa al final fue que incluyeron un cargo de unos cuatro euros como Impuestos sin saber por qué sobre los precios de la carta. Pedí explicaciones al camarero y me respondió que bastante tenía con servir las mesas, que él no sabía nada del tema. Le reiteré que debían avisar a los clientes si los precios eran sin IVA, porque en todos los restaurantes los daban con IVA, y me soltó que aquello era una Bodeguita, no un restaurante. Estoy convencido de que el camarero no tenía culpa de nada, que era cosa del encargado, pero me parece un timo. Me fui con muy mal sabor de boca. Ahora acabo de leer un artículo en el que un abogado aclara que los precios han de ser CON IVA."

"Hospedados en la Espadaña, tuvimos oportunidad de comer y desayunar más de 1 día allí, la comida es ideal calidad/precio muy recomendable . El bocadillo cubano está para morirse de bueno. "ahead to say that the attention was good and the quality products but I expected more, at least what we asked for, and I mean the taste. We asked for a corvine ceviche of undoubted quality but no citrus and with a little taste, it did not go from being a salad, and the tostas that put for the ceviche a success. the tosta of tuna very good but ridiculous in quantity, at least one more in quality for the price requested. the tuna loin of good quality as well as the garrison, but something past point. "This is by far my favorite restaurant in Rota! They have very good Italian food and the service is excellent! The outside seating is in a cute little court yard and clearly the owners are well-liked by all the locals passing by. The first couple of times we were seated without reservations but then for three nights in a row they were booked and we had to eat elsewhere so we got smart and started booking reservations ahead of time just in case. We had their Tinto and it was fantastic! Very refreshing and I like it better than Sangria! I’m already missing this place!"

"My friend recommended this tapas restaurant to my wife and I so the three of us along with another business colleague came here for one magnificent dining experience. From the first tapas to the last, we were thrilled with everything we ate. What made the meal even better was the presentation of several of the tapas. We started with the Badulaque salad. Now, a salad is a salad. That is unless it is a Badulaque salad. This creation came with lettuce, spinach, cashews, raisins, tomatoes, goat cheese, balsamic, and an amazing creamy garlic dressing. Best salad ever! Next up was a beautifully presented couscous plate. This also had raisins and cashews. We then moved to gambas al ajillo. This is my go to tapa. While not the best ever, it was quite tasty with plenty to share for four people. After that we had crispy shrimp, which were cut in half and served with a salsa brava. Speaking of that, we also had an order of patatas bravas. This was the best ever patatas bravas. They were filled with an explosion of salsa brava. After that we moved to the lamb cutlets, which truth be told, were just slightly overdone. Lamb should alway be served with some redness showing. Lastly, we shared an Iberian pork dish served Thai style. While amazing, it was not spicy as I would have expected for Thai style. All in all, an absolutely perfect meal. The service was great as was the view. I sincerely thank my colleague for recommending this place to us."
