"We had some of the best burgers in years, they were brilliant. Each, and we all chose different ones, was juicy, tasty and succulent. One thing of special note is the fries, they can only be described as fabulous; dry, crisp, tasty and fresh. The...staff could not be more helpful. Fine dining this isn’t, but it’s a fine meal."

"Echoing the comments of previous reviews, after many years of traveling these people are the most rude and obnoxious I have ever encountered. Do not fill their pockets with your hard earned cash. Service clearly designed to repel anyone other than those well known to the owners. Food average, price too high... just don’t bother... cross the road and go to cheese and beef restaurant instead."

"My son and I went to this restaurant to treat ourselves after a tiring day of downhill skiing in France. It is not a welcoming atmosphere when you walk in and we almost turned around and left. Locals were sitting at the end of the bar and staring at us.The waitress was good and came over quickly once we had sat down to offer menus. She accepted that we were not good at French and tried hard to make the ordering process easy.We ordered the Entrecote de boef sur ardoise which is a steak that you slice and cook on a hot stone at the table. A novel concept which added a bit of theatre to the meal. The quality of the steak was excellent and it came with a tasty salad and chips. The 200g steak was plenty big enough.They had some rugby showing on the large TV behind the bar which added a little bit of ambience but otherwise it was fairly quiet and we were the entertainment for the regulars sat sipping their beers and Pernod at the bar.Do come here for the food but do not come expecting Swizz bonhomie."

"Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und des Patrons sind toll. Das Frühstück war trotz Corona tiptop. Das veraltete Bad ginge problemlos, jedoch war es nicht sauber gehalten. Staub auf den Heizkörpern, Kalk an der Dusche, Mischapparatur und Trennglas. Schade. Das WLAN ging nicht und vor Zimmer hat es ordentlich Verkehr. Die zweite Corona-Welle hat alle Restaurants dicht gemacht. Im Hotel selbst gibt es z.Z. nur Fondue. #supportyourlocalbusiness"
