"greeted by a big smile of the boss and installed in the shade on the terrace this meal began well in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We decided that day to honor the memory of our mother who was born on July 14 to take the menu at 25 euros, the most expensive of those offered (the first beginning at 13,50 euros). I opted in for the home-made half-cuit foie gras, a real delight my brother for fresh gambas to wish, for the next a back of the rub with this taste of hazelnut that I affectionate so much accompanied by gambas and a topping to choose, my brother an entire dryer, who is fried, has feasted with the topping he had chosen. Then cheese and dessert tray, two martiniquaises (chovies by us) to finish this delicious meal from which we went out repus because so well served. We had already gone there last week to taste the famous tartare, we had not already been disappointed because it was totally consistent with our expectation and it had been a long time since I had not eaten so good. I knew this restaurant before, I must say that with the new direction, the dishes served as much as in quantity are definitely superior to me. I recommend it warmly, don't stop on the frontier come taste what is in the plate and you will do as I will come back to continue to discover this cuisine that is worth the detour because even the dish of the day is of excellent quality. This opinion is of a messine often coming to Montpellier, delighted to have found this place to spend good moments while enjoying itself when the occasion will come."

"We had a superb meal this evening, dining as a family of two adults, a teenager and three twelve year olds. We did not have a reservation but we were accommodated well upon our arrival. Water, olives (extremely well marinated) and rustic bread was provided...by the house which was very tasty. I ordered from the €26,50 set menu, Italian salad leaves with sundried tomato, pine nuts, Serrano ham, and a delightful ramekin with a baked egg in bechamel sauce topped with cheese.... Divine!!! Hubby had the €28.50 menu starting with a delicious and creamy baked Camembert with cured duck breast amazingly tasty. For main I had the chicken supreme with tarragon sauce puréed potato that was delicious, well seasoned and perfectly soft chicken beast, juicy and plump with a light but delicious sauce. Hubby had a fillet of cod that was as soft as butter and very very tasty. For dessert I had a salted caramel chocolate fondant with homemade meringue and whipped cream, while hubby had a Mille fuelle that was light, very crispy and delicious. A delicious glass of Chardonnay each accompanied our meal and I have to say the house wine was excellent. Teenager had the same menu as me, and younger kids had chicken breast with homemade fries. All very tasty, a little of the small side, but reasonable at €10 for drink, main and ice cream. Staff were friendly and attentive and very helpful. This has been my favorite meal in France, French cuisine at its very best. We will definitely return! Merci!!"
