"Fuimos una noche dos personas y pedimos patatas binibeca (literalmente en carta: patatas con bacon y queso) y fingers de pollo con salsa de mostaza y miel. Preguntamos si los fingers podían ir con la salsa a parte y nos dijeron que si. Nos trajeron los fingers con la salsa encima, el camarero nos dijo que si nos los quedábamos o nos los cambiaba, le pedimos cambiarlos ya que no nos gusta y nos habían dado la opción. Nuestra sorpresa fue que las patatas vinieron también con esa misma salsa por encima, cuando no se indicaba en carta. Le preguntamos al camarero si las patatas llevaban la misma salsa que le habíamos pedido quitar y nos dijo “Si”, sin más y se fue. Nos quedamos sin palabras, ni en carta se especifica que lleven salsa y encima el camarero no se dignó en avisarnos de ello cuando previamente habíamos modificado un plato por esa misma salsa. Nos las dejamos enteras y por supuesto, las cobraron."

"We ate so well that we didn't even look at the price. We went in couple because I was 5 minutes from the hotel by car and was in an area with different restaurants, we got a lot of the atmosphere and we walked in. In my case I asked for a delicious pasta with clams, shrimp and squid (question if it was the chin and the waitress I wonder if the one I wanted with a little more garlic and although in the end I asked for a nice gesture to offer me that alternative) my couple asked for a singlemillo that came accompanied by an exquisite creamy pepper sauce (also accompanied by potatoes and green peppers). To close with a gold brooch we asked for a cheesecake with red fruit, it was very refreshing. excellent service had 2 waiters, a waiter and a waiter, at all times they were pleasant. In conclusion: cozy place with excellent waiters, relaxing music and romantic atmosphere."

"We go to Menorca every year and tend to go to Santi’s on a couple of occasions,but never again. Last year we noticed the deterioration,but we thought we would give it another try on our first night. The food was not very nice at all.I had steak which tasted like the cheapest cut from the butcher’s,the vegetables were overcooked and very greasy,whilst the chips seemed like it was the remains at the bottom of the chip pan. It is also quite dear for the portion size and quality. Most of the staff are very miserable and it seems like they cannot be bothered to serve you. We found a better quality restaurant that was much more friendly and I will not be going back."

"Buena opción de restaurante ya que la comida y los platos son muy buenos, cierto que les falta variedad ya que la carta es muy escasa pero igualmente lo que tienen está buenísimo. El servicio bueno pero dependiendo de quién te atendía, la persona que parecía la responsable del sitio era muy amable y simpática pero una camarera que nos atendió de inicio la verdad que le faltaba buen trato y amabilidad por todas partes, entiendo que era fruto de que estaban bastante llenos y iban estresados y por eso la reseña igualmente es de 5*. "Excelente en todo. Restaurante ubicado en una casa en zona interior cerca de Sant Lluís. Aparcamiento propio. Decoración agradable y con amplios ventanales (curiosa la biblioteca). "Pour un petit village sympathique, le restaurant est plus que médiocre. "Visited this place as a family whilst on holiday, with it being my first time visiting I didn't really know what to expect. The menu has lots of wonderful dishes and being a fussy eater I wasn't sure what I'd be able to have. The place itself is really nice, elegant decor and very friendly staff. I ended up having the mushroom risotto (which was delicious! to start followed by the chicken curry for main (which was okay, portion was smaller than I expected it also came with a foam on the chicken which didn't really add anything to the meal . I would recommend this place to anyone in the area as it's definitely a place I would like to visit again and the selection of food is quite varied. There were a few local Gecko's that decided to say hello too!"

"Looking for a ‘good’ Tuesday lunch and was delighted to stumble on El Txoko on Trip Advisor. Always a bit wary of glowing reviews but this lovely restaurant was absolutely spot on. From the courteous and informative service to all the excellent, flavourful dishes, and the perfectly chilled white wine, it was an absolute revelation. We thankfully arrived early, soon after 1pm. There were many tables already reserved but we got a good spot; tbh I’m not sure there’s a ‘bad’ table. After dithering over the menu, and speaking to our patient waitress, we ordered some outstanding dishes, not a dud amongst them, even desserts which I usually swerve, but was persuaded by the quality of the previous dishes. Place was packed with locals, and gave the impression of somewhere they would chose to go for a celebration. Don’t often write reviews but this place was worth it. Back in September and will definitely make a reservation. Did I mention I’m a chef?"

"Es un lugar que está bien. Pedimos para compartir pan con tomate y un arroz negro que estaba bueno aunque la ración nos pareció justa. Lo único malo es que desde que llegamos hasta que nos dieron una mesa pasó hora y media (no hacen reservas). "Restaurante con un encanto que no se puede describir. El ambiente es muy agradable. Es un lugar en el que cenar mientras escuchas música que te acompaña de fondo. La comida, deliciosa. "Now this place is good..really good. Hard to stand out in this area because there are a lot of good restaurants, but they manage it here. Salmorejo was full of flavour, Gambas al Ajillo were bubbling, garlic laden and contained...hurrah..a decent amount of chilli. Here's the kicker..they will do a Fiduea for 1 person and it is lovely with plenty of seafood and soft flavourful noodles. Leave room for their homemade version of Flan, which is probably the best I've had over here.... As it was a spur of the moment lunch, we hadn't booked and got lucky because it was full at about 2.00pm ish..I suggest booking if you can. With a couple beers, 1 wine, a carajillo and a coffee it came to 66 euros. The view is gratis !!!"

"El mejor restaurante de Punta Prima típico de locales, con una gran variedad de menú y los platos espectaculares. Probamos la carne, marisco y las gyozas y todo espectacular, para repetir. "Essendo una delle poche cantine dell 'isola ed avendo un ristorante, ho deciso di fare l 'esperienza doppia anche se, alla fine, ho scelto di assaggiare un solo vino e di non prendere cose troppo complicate. Chiedo se si può avere un mix di salumi e formaggi dell 'isola e la risposta è no ? quindi ordino sia il tagliere degli uni che quello degli altr ed è tutto di qualitài. Per chiudere prendo la melanzana al forno ripiena. Buona. Personale gentile ma poco preparato sui vini cosa che, in una cantina dove si produce vino, suona abbastanza bizzarra. Location spettacolare, ma ci voglio tornare per mangiare qualcosa di cucinato . Consigliato."

"De entrante pedimos el bao de pato pequinés, estaba rico pero sinceramente nos pareció caro para la cantidad. Los platos principales exquisitos, yo me pedí la hamburguesa de wagyu y riquísima, la salsa de trufa espectacular y súper bien de cantidad la guarnición de patatas (además caseras). Mi chico se pidió el solomillo y la carne buenísima también, pedimos una ración extra de patatas fritas y sobraron porque la verdad que los platos principales son abundantes y no te quedas con hambre. De postre pedimos la tarta de queso, muy rica también. El servicio fenomenal, muy simpáticos, rápidos, y en todo momento pendientes de nosotros por si nos faltaba algo."

"Location is top notch frontline panoramic view of the open sea, lovely outside terrace with 2 pools and sun beds plus access to the sea (no beach , pleasant interior with sea view if weather is more inclement. Food is fabulous value very wide choice and option for full or half portions on many plates. I have been coming here for years and the food and service never falters. Particularly recommend the onion soup with (extremely cheesy topping, spaghetti with garlic and parsley, the libritos (absolutely stuffed with cheese and ham and the grilled sole is one of the very best. My husband highly recommends the draft lager and the wine list is sensibly priced and offers great wines that you don’t often see in restaurants obviously carefully selected and nothing run of the mill. Reasonable amount of street parking outside and free car park nearby if needed. Only open for lunch and usually wise to book (essential on a Sunday."

"un restaurante italiano situado en una urbanización con un menú muy interesante en el que destaca la pasta fresca. aconsejado por el camarero/propietario o gerente, pedí una masa desconocida para mí (sólo para ser un gran comedor de pasta y han viajado por italia en muchas ocasiones) llamada bucatini en este caso a la matríciana que fueron espectaculares, el ravioli y el macheroncini que pidió a los otros comedores de buen gusto también espectacular. El único que se puede poner es que decidí acabar con una comida tan buena con un grappa y no, pero eso es solo una anécdota. el precio también muy bien, dejamos menos de 25 € por cabeza. más de lo recomendado."

"We ate here at lunchtime in our last day in Menorca. It is a restaurant we’ve visited before so a good review is overdue. Looking for negatives, the service was a little slow initially, but we had time. The Tapas which we ordered to share as a family was wonderful. First, to arrive was a basket of bread, meant balls and Russian salad. Each worth a 10/10. Next to arrive was the order of sausage, the grilled liver, the cod bites, the chicken and a portion of chips. All excellent with the fish fresh and flavoursome. We didn’t order Patatas Bravas this time, was good last time we visited, but not needed with chips. Would we go there again. Very probably. Commendable."
