"Lively little pub, serving food and drink, where you'll be lucky to get a table or a parking space most of summer. Nice location right by the sea so great place to watch the world go by. Had a nice lunch here with friends and it was all around £25. Ordered drinks and sandwiches, which had generous fillings and came with fries and salad. My friends ham was a bit too thickly sliced for my liking, but they loved it and my grated cheese and pickle was just right for me. Will definitely visit again."

"Through Michelin's Guide we came across Aquitania restaurant. We called and made a booking for two which was accommodated quite well on a very short notice. The two stars which I have given are only due to the fact they accommodated us on a very short notice and the customer service was excellent. If it was for the food I would have given them 0 stars as it was beyond my imagination that a Michelin star restaurant would serve food like this. The portions were too big and there was no flavour at all in any of the dishes that came out from the kitchen. My starter was soo big that it could easily feed four and all of the dishes that followed were totally bland. It was appalling to me that the worst restaurant that I would be eating in Isle of Wight would be a Michelin star restaurant. Vegetarian options: There are at least three main vegetarian dishes present in the menu. Parking: Parking is not available on site. But there is parking available close by. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40"

"Amazing food, beautiful views and staff that will do anything to help. We celebrated my partners 30th birthday here with a 1year old 3year old. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms FAB, lots of space, huge bathroom and of course waking up to those georgeous sea views every morning just made our holiday perfect. The Boat House is in a fantastic location too, you can walk along the beach for Ryde. (A beautiful walk. From here Sandown/Shaklin 10min car drive, we fossil hunted in Brook with Island Gems over the other side of the island 25min drive. Thank you for everything over the weekend boat house we will be back"
