"I went with my wife and daughter on a Saturday night after we'd failed to get into several other restaurants (note: make a reservation in Herringsdorf for Saturday dinner). It was maybe 75% full and we sat at a bar table near the counter. We just wanted something small and quick, so we ordered a bowl of soup, a BBQ burger and a chicken burger. 50 minutes later, and only after a few pointed requests, we got our food - well, partially - my daughter's chicken burger turned out to be a children's cheeseburger wrapped up like a McDonalds order. My BBQ burger was made from a frozen, pre-fab patty and my wife's soup was seriously salty. We ate quickly and tried to pay with a card - apparently the card reader wouldn't work (because it was out of paper) so we had to use the last of our cash to pay. As a final insult, the waiter assumed that the overage was my tip and only after I glared at him did he ask me how much I was going to tip. Herringsdorf is bereft of casual, cheap eateries, so I assume this place tried to fill that niche. They could do a lot better. Go elsewhere."
