"Booked a table online with ease through the website. Got a confirmation later on with a time that fit for us. Both me and my Wife had an absolutely amazing time. Food was exceptional, staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend anyone to go and enjoy. Will definitely be going back again. "Food drinks: Called in without a booking. Was surprised when we were asked if we'd booked when the pub was almost empty? Soon became clear. Filled up in no time but the landlord squeezed us in. The food was excellent. The best chicken liver pate starter we've ever had, literally amazing. Wife had lasagna and I had steak pie. Both were excellent. Service prompt and very friendly. Cannot believe I've lived less than 3 miles away for 24 years and never visited. What a mistake that was. Great ub with excellent food."
