"The Yumini offers a large choice of Sushi and Grill dishes. You order on an I-pad 5 items, either sushi, meat, soup, noodles, vegetables, or drinks. After every other 15 minutes you are clear to continue with another order, always 5 items at a time....It is like a buffet coming to your table. The food is fresh and tasty, At the Yumini you avoid the type of asian buffet where food can sit for a while in the trays and get stale and loses flavor. Service is very friendly and very fast. There is a flat rate of 24 Euros p.p. for all you can eat. Drinks are extra of course. It is great to have such a variety of food, and as the portions are small you can try a lot of different stuff. As there are very few places in Siegen to eat the Yumini is definetely a good choice. In case you are not into sushi, don't worry. There are many warm dishes of meat, and poultry, kimchi, salads, etc. Highly recommended."

"We pulled off the highway looking for a place to eat and the first two we tried looked uninviting. We found Athos on TripAdvisor and headed to it. The restaurant is close to the exit and easy to park. Inside the restaurant was nicely decorated....Our waiter was very friendly and spoke English fairly well. His service was outstanding and the food was very good. He went out of his way to figure out how to describe a substitution in one of their desserts which we appreciated. The food was very good and I would definitely stop here again if I drive that way again."

"Waren zu weihnachtsfeier dort mit 15 Leuten. Bei der Frage ob es eine Vorspeise sein darf, waren alle dafür. Dann kamen 3 Etageren siehe foto) mit antipasti, dazu ein Brotkorb mit 1 minibrötchen pro Person. Diese Vorspeise kostete uns knapp 130 Euro. Unverschämt! Und wenn man gefragt hätte, wieviele keine vorspeise hatten und es einfach umgerechnet hätte, aber nein jeder der die vorspeise hatte wurde grundlegend 9.90€ berechnet. Gut das 2 verneint haben. Sonst hätten wir 150 € für die vorspeise bezahlt. Meine dann doch so gute bewertung hat einzig und allein der Service der jungen Dame ausgemacht. Einfach viel zu teuer für nicht gebrachte Leistung. Schade."

"Die Mitarbeiter sind einfach nur unfassbar kann ich nur sagen! Ich bin heute in das Restaurant reingelaufen und der Laden war voll. İch hab ca. 5 min vor der Theke gestanden bis einer mich mal anspricht aber die Mitarbeiter gucken dich kurz an und gucken wieder weg! İch kann diese Respektlosigkeit nicht verstehen. "Auch hier wieder ein klassicher Fall von einem schwachen Preis/Leistungs-Niveau. Im Grunde ist das Essen, im Vergleich zu Siegen (ich habe schon diverse Döner! und ja wirklich Döner, keine Drehspießtaschen gegessen und kann sagen, dass das Niveau in Siegen allgemein sehr schwach ist) schon ordentlich, da hier auf einen Döner aus Pute gesetzt wird. Geschmacklich kann man im Vergleich auch nicht viel Falsch machen. Was aber überhaupt nicht geht ist die Preisgestaltung. Für den Preis ist der Döner zu klein, die Pizzen sind nichts Besonderes und der Geschmack rechtfertigt den Preis nicht. Außerdem hatte ich bei meiner letzten Bestellung den ganzen Tag über starke Bauchkrämpfe und auch mit Übelkeit zu kämpfen begleitet von Sodbrennen. Da habe ich mir wohl den Magen verdorben. Alles in allem eine. 3/5"

"Wir waren zur zweit an einem Freitag Abend in diesem Restaurant und habe vor Ort gegessen. Wider Erwarten war es ziemlich leer, was mich etwas überrascht hat aber daran gelegen haben könnte das es sehr stark regnete. Das Restaurant machte einen sehr sauberen, modernen und freundlichen Eindruck. Die Hintergrundmusik war angenehm und nicht zu laut. Ich habe nur 3 Sterne für das Ambiente gegeben weil ich mir noch etwas gemütlichere Deko Einrichtung gewünscht hätte die mehr indisches Flair haben. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen, ich hatte als Vorspeise die Dal Suppe und als Hauptspeise Vegetable Korma hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Positiv fand ich die große Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Ich kann das Restaurant weiterempfehlen und wenn ich das nächste mal in Siegen bin werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen."

"Essen: Insgesamt ok, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches. Bisweilen schwach gewürzt. Die Pasta mit Trüffel war fast als geschmacksneutral zu bezeichnen (trotz Trüffel). Die magere extra Portion Steinpilze (salzarm) mit 7,50 € zu teuer. Die Fleischgerichte waren gut gelungen/schmackhaft. Desserts eher Standard. Service: Fing gut an, ließ stark nach. Keine Nachfragen ob es schmeckt, Nachbestellung von Getränken nur auf Bitten/Zuruf. Die Dessertkarte wurde ebenfalls nur auf Nachfrage gereicht. Nach Bestellung/Servieren des Essens wurde unser Tisch vernachlässigt. Teller/Besteck etc. wurde abgeräumt, das war's dann auch schon. Ambiente: Schön am unteren Schloß gelegen, nette Einrichtung, allerdings sehr laut (wie in einem Kölner Brauhaus)."

"Ich schließe mich den positiven Bewertungen hier gerne an. Dieser Italiener ist wirklich ausgezeichnet, mit einem äußerst freundlichen Personal und einem besonders zuvorkommenden Chef. Es ist möglich, Speisen spontan abzuholen, aber für einen Restaurantbesuch empfehle ich dringend, im Voraus einen Tisch zu reservieren, da das Restaurant stets gut besucht ist. Persönlich werfe ich meistens gar keinen Blick auf die Standard-Speisekarte, sondern lasse mich von der Tageskarte inspirieren. Ein kleiner Tipp: Wenn Sie einen Nachtisch bestellen möchten, empfiehlt es sich, nicht allzu lange zu warten, da es vorkommen kann, dass bestimmte Desserts schnell vergriffen sind. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist das Gericht 'Maccheroni Quattro Formaggi '. An diesem Gericht messe ich gerne die Qualität verschiedener italienischer Restaurants. Des Weiteren kann ich in den entsprechenden Monaten das Muschelgericht hier sehr empfehlen."

"was there 2 ten christmas. restaurant was full except us but already all you had eat so that the kitchen should not be overwhelmed. reception was rather cool card and drinks came very fast. appetizer carpaccio from the red bed with goat cheese. I had eaten the second time there this time the prayer was very earthly and the goat's so mild that he had not been to recognize as such. the marinade almost without taste. hauptgang hateback. perfectly fried, very beautifully dressed and a very large portion. tastefully it couldn't convince. the late zle, cooked too long and thus very soft, the sosse strongly thickened and didn't quite know what to taste. the nicely thrown in salt water and finished.Nextly was the best of the 3 courses. no overfruited dish, beautifully decorated and tastefully good. beer was too warm, the bardolino was very good.Everything in all for 3 courses 100,- euro paid for 2 people. after that one felt like pregnant in the 9th month because the portions for only 3 passages are much too large. Unfortunately, there was also not a taste-highligt so that for my feeling the price/performance ratio does not fit."

"I gave one star cause I think a good restaurant as a classic one all the team should work with each other if one person doesn’t do the job,the whole team goes down. For example the servant didn’t have the time for explaining the food on the menu and she was very rude. If I wasn’t with my family I would definitely go out from the restaurant. Second the menu for English wasn’t completely and the pizza menu was missing and servant didn’t explain that is missing. Third for the white wine for one bottle that we ordered we served by ourselves. Forth the service was very slow unbelievable slow. Fifth the bathroom was incredible cold with no soap. But the food was amazing thanks for the kitchen team . Service was less than one star restaurant so that means the whole restaurant is not working or the management was poor."

"We can definitely recommend the pizzeria if you are in Siegen. The pizza tastes like eating in Italy. Fresh and organic products are used as ingredients. It's something different from the usual fat-dried pizzas you usually know from the supplier. The higher price is therefore quite justified. The ambience is modern, with some rustic elements as decoration. But the best was the service. We have never experienced such a beautiful reception, let alone such a friendly treatment throughout the entire stay. It was paid attention to everything, e.g. if you don't sit too much in the sun, otherwise another shady place would be offered to us. It was often kindly asked if everything is okay. Also the payment went fast where most restaurants nowadays, as you are often not even considered a guest. If you like pizza or pasta and do not shy the higher price, in favor of a better quality, you should come by here."

"unfortunately we had an island place. for my vater a last because of back problems, and finally we have solved it so that we have always brought it to him. "the caffe del sol is a beautiful place to be. they can meet friends, have lunch and enjoy a wonderful time. that said this is not my favorite place. the service is naturally dependent on the waiter .the atmosphere in the main building is like in a railway station, and that eating is simply okay yet the breakfast buffet on Sunday is great. there is everything they can eat is plentiful, eating is delicious. However, they have to pay for every drink that will cost them as much as a regular breakfast. the veranda is great as they can smoke and have an outdoor feeling almost like a beer garden. if they need to use their car, there are always parking spaces on the ground, but I do not often go to this place. If they want a special ambiente, there are better alternatives in the city of Siegen."

"Regarding Turkish food I like Iskender (beef slices with tomato, bread and yogurt). When walking through the streets of Siegen on the lookout for a nice restaurant, (we had a planned stop-over in Siegen) we encountered the restaurant Istanbul Sofra . At first sight the restaurant looks like a fast food joint (it has a take-away counter) but it is a full service restaurant with a splendid space at the river with outdoor tables. As obviously the restaurant was frequented by people with Turkish roots, we decided to join and try the Iskender. I can say the Iskender was very tasty, prepared with quality beef and as the weather was splendid, we had a good time. Prices are moderate, but the service was a bit bumbling. Imagine the had to tell us they ran out of tea! In a Turkish restaurant! But generally speaking Istanbul Sofra has earned my four point rating. Well done."
