"Now, for the details: before our starters, we enjoyed poppadoms with condiments. The poppadoms were good, but instead of the classic three dips (which included the mint yogurt that we couldn’t have), we received five different vegan options (including a vegan mint yogurt), and I can’t identify all of them, but they were all delicious! For starters, we ordered the vegetable samosas and hara kebabs (stir-fried chickpeas). Both were delicious, but we especially enjoyed the hara kebab.
For our mains, we both had the vegan tikka masala, which was amazing with so many flavors from the coconut milk and a hint of sweetness! It tasted like a curry version of a Peshwari naan! The only small critique I have, and it’s really minor, is that I would have liked more chickpeas in it to boost the protein content. I think there were only a few little pieces in my curry! Even a vegan chicken alternative would be fantastic! Regardless, the curry was incredibly tasty and I would order it again without hesitation. For sides, we had a sweet vegan naan and shared both between us, along with a saag aloo. Everything was amazing; we were truly blown away by the entire experience, and the portions were huge—we even took some home for dinner the next day!"
