"Asador en el centro de Tarifa. Súper recomendable. Mi pareja y yo nos decidimos por comer ahi, gracias a las reseñas que leímos. Pedimos la empanada tan apreciada entre ellas y la verdad que estaba buenísima. También el foie de pato al PX, muy bueno. Y como principal el chuleton de vaca retinta, el cual nos enseñaron y nos lo trajeron en el punto que pedimos. INCREIBLE. La atención del servicio agradable y atenta. Sin duda repetiremos y recomendamos 100"

"Walked in and asked for a table for 4 people. Got ignored. We waited 30 minutes and some people left so we waited for the table to be cleared which didn’t happen so we sat down. Asked for someone to serve us since no one attempted to take our order. Another 20 minutes later we ask for our order to be taken and the table to be cleaned which took them a further 10 mins. Asked for a menu which never came so after waiting for another 10mins I went inside and tried to asked for service and got ignored even though the waitress looked at me. Walked out after over an hour of waiting."

"We popped in here for breakfast and stumbled on a twist on a standard spanish dish tostado con tomate a toasted roll with smooshed tomato, olive oil and salt but they included a raw garlic to rub on it and oregano. They also offered integral bread (wholemeal) which is still rare in Spain. Great coffee and decoration."

"Hoy al mediodía hicimos una reserva para las 21:00, fuimos a cenar mi pareja y yo, nos sentaron fuera en la terraza con unas vistas del faro preciosas en un atardecer único. El camarero que nos atendió lo hizo con muchísima profesionalidad y aconsejándonos en todo momento sobre los increíbles platos que probamos, le comentamos las alergias que mi pareja padece y se volcó completamente para informarle sobre lo que podía o no comer, lo que nos dio una confianza absoluta para poder cenar con tranquilidad. La comida es espectacular tanto en sabor como en presentación, desde luego que repetiremos, el pulpo braseado estaba espectacular y tierno, las gambas rojas frescas y sabrosas, nos encantó!!"

"En Bolonia hay muchos sitios donde se come bien, pero el trato que hemos recibido por parte de los camareros ha sido impagable, muy atentos, bien organizados, preguntando si todo bien, si el niño estaba bien… eso a lo que le sumas que la comida estaba bien, el sitio limpio y las vistas impagables… pues como que te da igual lo que te cobren porque todo en conjunto lo merece. Además cantó Andrés Roldán, el cual fue un descubrimiento para nosotros y que supuso el broche de oro a nuestra comida. Volvimos a los dos dias y todo fue igual de bien sino hasta mejor. Muy recomendable"

"Me and my partner came here for our anniversary an LGBT couple). We were “greeted” at the door by a young man that had seen that we were holding hands and smirked then bowed and said “Ni hao” not sure if this was a joke or an insult but already set the evening on a bad note. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. My partner had called ahead and asked for a nice table given we were celebrating. We were given a table next to a wall with no view or lighting, all the nicer tables were reserved for locals. We were then given the menus, not much choice and everything is insanely overpriced. Drinks took 20 mins to reach our table bottle of lemonade and water) after 30 mins we were finally asked what we wanted to eat. We both picked the Solomio steak. We were one of the first tables to order this. My partner was asked how he wanted it cooked and he said medium well but the owner told him he would get it rare. After 40 mins one steak arrived and had to get sent back since it was literally bleeding. 10 mins after this a waiter came to our table to tell us they had run out of the steaks this is an hour after ordering the **** thing. We decided to keep the one steak and leave. We mentioned all this to the owner and received mediocre excuses. They ruined our anniversary dinner and even charged us for bread we didn’t eat. Not much choice to eat in the small town but would recommend literally anywhere else. We come to Cadiz every year and can easily say we won’t be returning to that poor excuse of a restaurant."

"Good food, not so friendly service. The tapas were not typical, they were more fusion but food was fresh. Server was snobby even though we tried to be friendly and make small talk (we speak Spanish). Location was great… overlooking the principal street with lots of activity going on. Restaurant itself was gorgeous and incredible atmosphere. All in all it was good but I wouldn’t repeat."

"Nice small local in the City of Tarifa. My wife, my daughter and I took three plates, 2 octopus (two tentacles and a small tarte of potato each), 1 cornet of fish and squid and 3 small beer. Everything was good (not exquisite), service fast enough, but price was 42,50 euro!!! Really too much"

"Las pizza muy buenas y la masa fina, me recuerda a la famosa pizzeria La tabla que había hace años en Tarifa La pasta también bien conseguida. Esta a pie de carretera por lo que para llegar no hay problema en encontrarla. Las raciones de pasta y las pizzas son grandes y el precio ajustado. Una pena que no tengan huevo como opción para poner en la pizza como ingrediente extra. Admiten perros en el interior del local, no así en la terraza, me parece bien que dejen los jardines para que los niños jueguen en el suelo sin peligro a encontrarse cacas o restos de ellas. Nosotros llevamos dos perros pequeños y sin problema dentro del local."

"Excelente pizzeria en Tarifa. Esperamos unos 30 minutos, pero como siempre ha valido la pena. Una calzone más que recomendable, y la masa de las otras pizzas también espectacular. Este año nos quedamos con el mal sabor de boca al día siguiente al ver en el ticket que nos habían cobrado 4 Coca Colas de más. Esperamos que solo haya sido un error de la cajera en lugar de una mala costumbre."

"He's disappointed us. I expected quality in the food. the preparation and products have been bad in all the dishes we order. fried fish was not fresh and was not well fried, bad taste, like rancid. the cod at low temperature was fibrous, hard, the lascas were not taken off and the color was not white as well as insipid. the lobster salad was fine. presentation of dishes, cleaning, atmosphere and service were good or very good."

"After a long day in Tangier, docked back in Tarifa tired and hungry. This little Italian cuisine gem gave us a boost of energy with it’s owner, Mateo, who is from Venice. The creations from his kitchen have been the best we have experienced this week in this area. Three of our choices included his daily creations, we started with muscles in a light and lively curry base, grilled seasonally vegetables and squid. With a hankering for pasta (the reason we came here) we savoured the flavours of more seafood. On top of all this, needing a little sweetness to finish the palate, he surprised us with tempura “cookies” on homemade vanilla ice cream! OMG! Told Mateo he should Paton this one! A whole new way to experience a KitKat! Mucho Gracias Mateo! All of this and a bottle of Sav for only $105 for 4 of us."

"A shame for such a romantic setting to have such poor food and service. The courtyard and tables were beautiful and lend themselves to a wonderful evening. Despite this, the food was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The steak was ordered to be medium rare but came out mooing, with cold vegetables. Meanwhile the gnocchi with tuna ragu lacked flavour and the sauce was very watery and separated from the gnocchi. Additionally, whilst the restuarant states it opens at 7:30pm, we were turned away and not allowed to sit until 8pm. Even then it felt like we weren't welcome and the staff put off serving us food. All in all poor food, expensive and unwelcoming."

"Element Cafe is my favourite cafe in Tarifa. A friend brought me here and I have been back multiple times since. The quality menu always feels like great value for money I really recommend The Eggs Benedict! They also have daily specials and homemade kombucha or ginger beer. Ivan the owner and chef is so lovely and always makes us feel welcome. The cafe is bright and airy and is the perfect place to catchup with friends or for family brunch."

"Cenamos por 12€ entre 2. La pizza estaba increíble, el sitio es pequeño pero agradable, tienen una terracita pequeña fuera, la camarera muy agradable. El cocinero tenía muy malas formas con la camarera, muy poco profesional teniendo en cuenta que la cocina es abierta y se ve y se oye todo lo que pasa. Es lo único que tengo que criticar. Por lo demás todo correcto y recomiendo 100% las pizzas, la masa es más gordita y los ingredientes abundantes y frescos, también tienen cervezas artesanas y los precios son bastante buenos."

"Visiting Terifa for the first time, we were looking for a wonderful lunch, rather than a snack, and somewhere inside as the winds in May were too harsh. El Jardin was the perfect find. We had a meal of huge exception in its quality and abundant in it's portions. Fresh, wonderful dishes served beautifully, and wines to die for. We had a two course meal, the main being their beautiful beef, and bottle of outstanding Ribero del Duero, a glass each of white wine to start and a bill that came to a mere 75 Euros. The surroundings are stunning and the gardens quite beautiful. They house white Peacocks amazing. Can't recommend this highly enough."
