"This pub is located on a quaint side street off of Teddington Crescent. As we passed by, we noticed people enjoying beer and food outside on a lovely sunny day. The menu offers traditional English cuisine and is quite delightful. While slightly pricier than other establishments, the quality certainly justifies the cost. The lady behind the bar was friendly and welcoming, a refreshing change from the usual arrogance often found in restaurant and pub staff. The gentleman working there was also very pleasant and treated us like old friends. The freshly grilled food was delicious and the chips were not soggy, indicating a lack of frozen pre-packaged meals. The decor was reminiscent of a riverside pub, tastefully done without being overly provincial. There is limited outdoor seating, which may explain why other venues are more popular on sunny days. However, there were plenty of chairs and tables available for those wanting to soak up the sun. The Wi-Fi setup was a bit cumbersome, requiring filling out a lengthy online form for access. Unfortunately, the toilet facilities left something to be desired with an empty toilet roll holder and the roll precariously perched above the floor. Despite these minor drawbacks, this pub restaurant is a solid choice for locals and visitors alike. Customers appeared content and satisfied with their dining experience. While it may not offer artisanal microbrews, it remains a charming spot for those in the area."
