"We dined with friends and enjoyed a fabulous three-course lunch! For the starter, I had the tomato basil soup, followed by the pork and stuffing pie with chips, which were some of the best I've ever tasted. My partner started with pork belly bites and had chili with rice for the main course—both were perfectly portioned. We finished off with a delightful dessert of sticky toffee pudding served with a decadent sauce and a chocolate mousse topped with cherries, making for a perfect conclusion to a wonderful meal. I would definitely return! The seating was extremely comfortable, and we were lucky enough to sit by the log burner since it was quite cold outside. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend it. The service was great, and the staff were very kind!"

"The Devonport is my go-to destination every time I visit Millbrook, Cawsand or Kingsand. The food is good but the place is popular so getting a table without reserving is a game of chance. However, on a good weather day, sitting outside in the sun watching the world go by as the tide comes in or goes out with a pasty in one hand and a pint in the other is as good as it gets. In the winter months there is a lovely log fire and the staff always make you feel welcome. I cannot recommend The Devonport more highly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"2.6.23 Wow what a wedding day at The Orangery! Such a special place. Michelle and Kerry were brilliant throughout the whole experience. Their attention to detail, support with decisions and flexible relaxed vibe was perfect. We got married at Mount Edgcumbe House outside as it was a beautiful sunny day. Then made our way to The Orangery. The combination of the 2 buildings was perfect. Mount Edgcumbe house looks like a castle so I felt like a princess and The Orangery felt like a setting on the French Riviera! It really is an incredibly beautiful building and all our guests were so impressed! Michelle and the team made sure the whole day ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We chose the buffet and it was absolutely delicious and the pasties in the evening disappeared in seconds! Yum! I cannot recommend this venue enough. So many beautiful photo opportunities all around the venues and you just feel so special. It truly was the BEST DAY EVER with so many incredible memories to cherish. Forever grateful to Michelle for making it happen"

"The food at this restaurant was amazing and the service was friendly. It was a quiet day when we visited, which was great as we brought our 18-month-old German Shepherd rescue for her first indoor pub/restaurant experience, along with our 11-year-old Labrador. We called ahead and the staff were very helpful in seating us in a suitable area. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon. Overall rating for service, food, and atmosphere: 5 out of 5. Meal type: Lunch, Price per person: £30-40"

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The takeout service was excellent for dinner. The price per person was £60-70. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Crispy Spring Rolls, Hot Fried Crispy Shredded Beef, Prawn Crackers, House Special Fried Rice, Hot Fried Crispy Shredded Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Chicken."

"The staff at this restaurant were terrible. They were moody and indifferent, and they even got my order wrong. I was very disappointed with their lack of care and attention. The last time I dined here, the food was excellent, but now it seems to have gone downhill. Overall, the service was a 1 out of 5, the food was a 3 out of 5, and the atmosphere was a 3 out of 5. "My husband and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening at 5pm. It felt like a fast food joint you would visit after a night out. We both ordered burgers. My husband got the chicken burger and I ordered the vegan burger, but both were dry and lacked flavor. The salad was made up of wilted lettuce, onion, and cucumber. The fries seemed to be frozen and cooked in the oven. This place has potential, but they need to put more effort into the food. I was expecting a relaxed atmosphere, but after dining here for an hour, I left with a headache. If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere with great views, I would recommend trying the Wilcove Inn or Carbeille Inn. I usually dine at those places in Torpoint, but I wanted to try something different and was very disappointed with this restaurant."
