The spicy flavored Polipetti alla Luciana von pomodorini, olive nere di gaeta, capperi e pane croccante profumato all’aglio small octopus stewed with tomatoes, olives and capers, served with garlic croutons was a palatable appetizer. "Als Stammkundin kam ich sehr gerne mehrmals monatlich, weil ich das Essen und die Atmosphäre sehr gemocht habe. Normalerweise ist der Service sehr angenehm, aber heute waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben am ersten Tisch bestellt und bevor das Essen kam, haben wir den Tisch gewechselt, um näher am Ufer zu sitzen. Das war vielleicht unser Fehler, aber so unhöflich kann man nicht reagieren. "After hours of driving to the beautiful town of Ulm, my partner and I decided to have a stroll around the city center and found this restaurant. The beer garden was quite busy at but the server was quick to point out a...lovely table on the bridge, under the creek. We both ordered the local Hefeweizen and of course the schnitzel. The food was good but our server Sabine was EXCELLENT!!! Even with her mask on, we knew she had a constant smile on her face. She was cheerful, efficient, has a sense of humour and really made us feel welcome! We liked her so much that we promised to come back her next shift two days after. She recognised us immediately, gave us table and was genuinely surprised when we said we wanted a table for four we brought our friends who we were visiting with us. "We can in here when it was sunny and warm, but that was only the beginning. My wife and I love Thai and have enjoyed it in Thailand, the United States, across Europe, and even in the Middle East. This is a cuisine that travels...well. Thai-Haus Tuitong met and exceeded our expectations. The only down fall to getting here is that the entire road is torn up and under construction. Nonetheless, this did not stop us. We started with a mixed appetizer of traditional Thai items from shrimp toast to egg rolls, won tons, and chicken skewers served with satay sauce, chili sauce, and cucumber and onions. For my main dish, I went with a spicy fish dish. It was incredible, but the fish was still on the bone which I was not expecting. Must push through! My wife ordered a chicken soup like dish. We topped it off with a bottle of German white wine. This time it was a Verrenberger. By the time dinner was finished, it was absolutely pouring. I mean pouring like I had not seen in a long time. The owner of the restaurant gave us her personal umbrella to get home. She told us to keep it. While we still have it, it gives us a great reason to return to the restaurant to thank her and enjoy another great meal. I guarantee you will love this place, which is neatly decorated and has a wall length aquarium filled with gorgeous fish."

"nntag dort und war sehr begeistert. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet einen breite Fensterfront. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Am Tisch angekommen, erhielten wir direkt die Speisekarten und konnten unsere Getränkebestellung aufgeben, welche auch zügig zu uns an den Tisch kam. Ebenfalls positiv anzumerken ist, dass an einem Sonntag noch eine zweite Speisekarte mit griechischen Leckereien existiert. Dennoch habe ich mich für die schwäbische-Variante entschieden und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Portion war üppig, enthielt neben den Schweinemedaillons noch ein Maultäschle, eine leckere Rahmsauce und Kässpätzle. Das Essen hat definitiv auf ganzer Linie überzeugt! Beim nächsten Besuch wird definitiv noch die griechische Karte probiert. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: der Vorspeisensalat kam zeitgleich mit dem Essen und der Kartoffelsalat hätte etwas wärmer sein können. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr fair! "We were hungry and fancied an Italian lunch. You could tell all the food was fresh. My ravioli with truffles was impressive and rather expensive but then so are truffles and a slice of my wife’s pizza tasted good even though it was cold...when I ate it. The Tartufo ice cream looked and tasted superior and was served at just the right temperature. The venue is a modest dining parlour at the beginning of a side street but this is actually fine cuisine. Service was friendly and prompt"

"They should be ashamed, we were yelled at because we thought it’s okay to sit outside while waiting for the restaurant to open, all the tables were ready, their main door was fully opened and was no timetable anywhere. First time in Ulm, the bitterness in the waitress’s tone ruined our mood to dine there. I went inside to ask for a table I was tole they open at 5, I saw a German couple sitting outside and I assumed it’s okay to wait there for 30 minutes since other restaurants across Germany had no issue with it and we usually order drinks while waiting for the kitchen to open. How wrong i was. The other waitress saw us taking pictures outside she sent her colleague over to say that we can’t sit outside, then she herself proceeded to yell at us from across the restaurant saying “my colleague told you we open at 5” with a very demeaning attitude which ruined the excitement we had built for this restaurant. Mind you the waitress was so sweet and lovely towards the natives it was us she had an issue with. If you value your self and money don’t eat here. Just read what other costumers have said about their “hospitality” also read the way the owner of this place replies, an absolute joke."

"Good location on the 4th floor, nice view of the square cathedral. Great breakfast for a good price. The chai latte was really tasty! Only downfall is I highly recommend eating inside. My fiancé I were eating outside we were getting swarmed by bee's. The breakfast did include honey yogurt fruit, stuff that attracts bees but at one point we had about 8+ bees on our food/ in our face. I dont know if or how the restaurant could prevent this but we brought our breakfast inside to finish eating."

"As regulars at Meta (formerly Basils) we kind of feel out of the habit of visiting Seven which is run by members of the same gastroempire that established the former. Recently, we popped in for a drink at the bar and having enjoyed the interior we decided that we had to resume our visits with a dinner again. Initially we had requested a table at the front near the bar but a bunch of lively children convinced us to opt for the more sedate dining room at the back. We started with a little bit of Taramasalata and follwed this by Seezunge (lemon sole) that comes accomapnied by grilled vegetables. Dessert was a walnutcake with walnut ice. All in all a perfectly credible effort with friendly service that was very helpful with the table relocation too. My only gripe is perhaps the fact that the menu is just so similar to Meta and is also not really changing at all. Greek and Mediterranean cuisine has so many delights and it would be a pleasure to see them here. Still, we will be perfectly happy to return."
