"osteria ii duomo is a tiny restaurant in a side street right at the ulmer square. the staff consisted of two people: the waiter/Maitre d' made of sardinia and the cook. While we waited for our food, they talked in Italian about cooking sounds and popular Italian music, to which the waiter sang when he went from our table to the kitchen. I had gnocchi in a ricotta sauce with paprika flavor. the gnocchi were airy, with exactly the right amount of sauce and with certainty belonged to the best I ever had. the spaghetti carbonara my mannes were full of smokey speck taste and fresh mushrooms. talk about Italian home cooking! So we enjoyed antipasti appetizers, two glasses wein and two dishes for about 33,00 euro. Just when we went, a group of 8-10 people came in, and the personal arranged quickly the tables and greeted them as cordial as they had done with us. I wish we could have tasted dessert, but my fantasy says it would have been great!"

"Delicious food and nice ambience. But very expensive, especially for vegetarians. Why does vegetarian ramen cost the same as meat ramen? I don't think that's justified because the ingredients are far cheaper. Price-performance is therefore not right. "The only proper turkish food restaurant in Ulm. If you know another please let me know. It's a nice family run establishment that serves really delicious turkish food, from adana to beyti everything is properly done and is fresh. "Had the experience multiple times that I was given a grande when I clearly ordered tall, and as a gold member the free shots of syrup/espresso were charged. Cant help feeling that they are just forcing their sales on you! Especially more annoying when I bring a thermos mug that can only hold a tall! The first time it happened I let them know and let it go, but repeatedly...!? After I get the drink, I am then put in a spot where I have to hold up a long line to get a small change back, which I am too nice to do. My second issue with the place is the incompetence of the order taker. Unless you order something straight off the menu, he gets really confused. It 's not a complex order, my only constraint being diabetic need. So swapping sugar free is too confusing . If there is a crowd of more than 3-4 tables, then forget getting your drink right. I have received pike roast in place of americano when they were out of stock and it was still charged for americano. I can tell the different in my sleep."

"we visited the restaurant under the week. we were visually impressed by the location! the vault is really great and the local has the perfect size. From public it was totally mixed, from young to old everything was there. I liked it very well. the card is small- what I like very- and is supplemented with a changing weekly card. the wine selection is great and you will also find one or other special wine here. the prices for the wee are appropriate. the food was very delicious. I had a heavy fish that cost 26€. certainly not cheap, but appropriate. he was very tasty and was very artistically fileted. my partner had filled kalamari and it also tasted good! at the end there was an averna on the house which of course always very pleased! the little ones make a good evening! up to minor problems with the reservation, which were quickly and competently solved, an extremely successful evening in a very good restaurant. we are happy to come back!"

"Die beste Pizza die ich je gegessen habe. Neapolitanische Art. Am Rand hoch aufgegangen, in der Mitte superdünn und knusprig, ohne keksig zu sein. Offensichtlich handgewirkt, ohne Nudelholz. Durch die hohe Hitze des Ofens rundherum tolle Röstaromen. Beim ersten Bissen dachten wir, die Pizza wäre etwas wenig gesalzen, aber nein. Die einzelnen Komponenten hatten jeweils so ausgeprägte Geschmäcker dass mehr Salz einfach nicht nötig war. Perfekt. Der Espresso zum Abschluss war auch lecker. Essen kam zügig. Service herzlich und freundlich, allerdings wenig aufmerksam. Eher zwischen Tisch- und Selbstbedienung. Völlig in Ordnung und immer war jemand ansprechbar. Ambiente ist charmant unperfekt. Hierher kommt weniger die Laufkundschaft, als vielmehr die Kenner und Stammkunden. Bei unserem Besuch angenehm kurze (Pizza- Karte, daher wohl Konzentration auf das Wesentliche. Wir sind froh dieses Lokal durch Zufall entdeckt zu haben und kommen ganz sicher wieder. Geheimtipp und mindestens einen Umweg wert."
