"Yesterday, after a long Corona-induced break, we once again enjoyed a “Davide 4 1⁄2 Gänge Menue” al a Dario. Even if the atmosphere of the restaurant can't come up with us at home, this holiday feeling will immediately arise with these typical dishes. We first had antipasti such as beef carpaccio and many different marinated vegetables. As a second walk there was a very tasty hot dough bag filled with ricotta and dried tomatoes, which is actually called in Italian with mixed salad. We then prepared the other courses warmed with us according to Darios instructions. As the first main course the noodle dish there were freshly made band noodles. A delicious wildragout with mushrooms and pifferlings. Pasta cooked for 4 minutes in salt water, ragout briefly heated in a pan, pasta given, briefly swung – finished. And, of course, also tasted great. As the second main course there were calf bags with calfsfond and vegetables. The calfs were cooked and vacuumed, and only had to be heated in a water bath. Vegetables with a little olive oil in the pot and made the fond creamy with cold butter. Little effort for us – again a delicious walk on the table. The dessert was a special Panna Cotta with Lakritzaroma and a Baiser topping. Refined and the perfect finish for this great menu. With Dario we have a really extraordinary Italian cook here in Verden and we hope that he can prove that again as soon as possible in his restaurant. Until then we had a little time out of Corona for at least one evening and we enjoyed it very much. Thanks to Dario and his whole Daivde team."
