"We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. After we made our order, we were greeted by the drinks . Since is was a rainy night, we wanted to start our meal with some hot starter, but it’s a pity that they don’t have mussels at that night. Octopus salad became our second choice and we were totally impressed by this warm salad. What a good choice we made! Then the two big portion and delicious main course continued to light up the rest of the evening. The last but not the least, staffs are caring and friendly. We look forward to have another day with Bacaro."

"Disappointed to have booked and not be warned about the mezze being the only available option. Told when sat down. Not much option but to accept. Food great. Tried to charge for each of us there were adults and an year old and year old despite agreeing to do deal for the of them when we ordered. When asked for the bill I was over charged. They didn’t leave bill on table and just tell you the value and present the card machine immediately. I queried and he went to alter. I paid. I realised that in fact they had charged more than the first time. I ended up having to ask for a print out of the bill on my way out. He gave it to me. It wasn’t even our bill plus they’d charged for the set menu!!?!?!!. I wrote down what we had eaten and drank and we added it up properly together and he had indeed overcharged by He couldn’t refund the card and so gave cash. Lush food. If you go please check what’s on offer before you go. Then insist that the bill if left on your table like in a normal restaurant. This gives the customer the time to check all is well before paying. I really felt the chap was trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Don’t let them! He did the same to another table which had a couple and a young child of about or Charged The excuse was that he couldn’t deduct dine in because we only wanted set menus. Rubbish. We have eaten out all month in the scheme in restaurant in bristol and in central London and this is the only time I’ve heard this tosh. Chap could put whatever he wanted into the till ...it’s his restaurant. of us dined. x to come of bill. I found the whole invoicing experience poor and embarrassing."

"My family and I had lunch on Mother's Day. The service was a bit slow, but it was definitely worth the wait! Everything we ordered was delicious, from the garlic bread and olives, to the pasta, pizza, risotto, and desserts like tiramisu, cheesecake, and panna cotta (which were all delicious). We also enjoyed some ice cold zitronenzello and a super smooth coffee. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning to eat here again."

"stovells chobham surrey it is a hidden gem of this place with its South American influenced French theme menu. home made stovells gin is the series of the day my ex-college girl has made, now excellent chef fernando, and younger has come far. he will be on Saturday's kitchen this week with chef james martin, probably talking about the Mexican and Argentine punsch he put into his eating. the settings are more homely, but this is chobham for them a real quantendorf that is fucked somewhere in deep surrey. the entrance was greeted by a warm open fire from dried of wood and a cocktail or two. low ceilings, but the beams make them feel like they could go into a very lush pub! amuse bouche was a beautiful surprise, and the wood fired baked brot was delicious. smoked butter to go with it. grilled makrele, terrine, braided brisket, cadjau, petit pois asacienne and a whisper of chard all washed with a fine Spanish white, made it a very Mediterranean afternoon with a much taste and a beautiful environment too. the restaurant was full and the chairs were really comfortable, we enjoyed it immensely. my schokopude was perfectly plated and I loved the milcheis that came with him. the cheese selection was incredibly well thought-out and well presented with its own small card! 10/10 well made chef fernando, happy to see how great her restaurant does: and thank you for her generousness"

"I had a mixed experience at Latino this week, as I visited twice. The food was excellent on both occasions, but the service and atmosphere varied. During my first visit, the service was just right - not too slow, not too fast. The restaurant was not very busy, and Astrid, the server, was lovely. We conversed in English and Italian, she asked all the right questions, and was very welcoming. I left a positive review on the feedback card. However, on my second visit, despite my previous good review, the service was cold and efficient. I had made a reservation for 7:30pm, arrived at 7:20pm, and had my food on the table by 7:30pm. I had ordered a wine to start and one for my meal, but they both arrived at the same time. It seemed like they were in a rush to serve me. Astrid was still pleasant, but the two gentlemen who served me seemed more focused on getting me to pay and leave. I mentioned this difference on the feedback card, but received no response. The reason for my average feedback score is due to the inconsistency in service between the two visits. In conclusion, the food was fantastic, prices were fair, and overall it was a pleasant place to dine. Kerr WELLS."

"We came into Woking to go to our favourite Lebanese place unfortunately they were closed .. So we found this as an alternative , Food wise I enjoyed the fresh falafel and my partner raved about their tabbouleh . I was a little disappointed by the bread it had clearly been reheated as it had that slightly damp nature that reheated bread does My main was excellent the chicken was tender and the portions were ample , The service was prompt and friendly and despite it being a wet Tuesday night they had sat the diners close enough so there was still some atmosphere. This place is BYOB and we didn't know prior to walking in so my dreams of a cheeky midweek pint with my falafel were dashed an advantage for many but one to know if you're going."

"I went to the Bird in Hand on July 9th with two family members. The tables were nicely spaced out, so we didn't feel crowded. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. We all ordered roast dinners, two lamb and one chicken. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and served hot. In addition to the vegetables on the plate, we also received a dish of cauliflower and broccoli. For dessert, we all enjoyed the strawberry Eton Mess, which was delicious - not too sweet or tart. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning."

"Review done: My family and I am a huge fan of Kerala dishes. I’ve been to several Kerala restaurants in London but they don’t come anywhere near the quality and the taste served in Kayak restaurant. As starters we had the Mixed seafood platter and Kayal Konju Chilly. It’s certainly fair to say the starters made us hungrier and more excited to get the mains. As mains, we had the full thilapi, porotta, chicken curry and ghee rice. They were delicious as expected. After polishing off the plates, we moved to the deserts pineapple Kesari and semiya payasam. Knowing that we are in Kayal restaurant, one of our friends asked us to take away some dishes for them as they have been here a few times. The staff were very friendly, polite and very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. The restaurant is big and airy. We will be back!"

"Great little find in Surrey. We were visiting the area in August to collect an award, at a nearby Hotel, and decided to venture away from the venue to have lunch as a team. We were so happy that we chose here as the service and food was amazing. We love supporting small restaurants like this, over big chains. There were four of us in our party, and we enjoyed bread and olives to start, then we had pizza, lasagna, carbonara and pasta as our main dishes, with salad, chips and garlic bread to share. With drinks each as well we were pleasantly surprised with the total of the bill as well coming in at £91.00. I can highly recommend this restaurant, and being a restaurant owner myself, it was lovely to receive a great service as well as tasty, filling food as well. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely pop back in again. Thank you"

"Soya Woking Overall We visited there last week during Easter Holiday. Not very busy when we arrived here so you don’t need to book the table if you want to have dinner in there. We order: Superior Platter Including:8 Pcs sashimi, 8 pcs nigiri, tobiko gunkan, 8 pcs tuna avocado rolls; Served with miso soup. And they gave us one extra miso soup for us which is very welcome and very friendly! The whole thing is very delicious and very filling. And the price is amazing and worth to pay. All sashimis are great and taste fresh. Kimchi pancake A little bit too dry and some of the pancakes are a bit burnt in another side. Korean Spicy Crispy Squid Spicy crispy Squid is my all time favourite! "

"Went for an early evening meal and were sat in front of the door so the draught on people entering leaving kept us cold. The starter of bread olives took 45 minutes to arrive. The bread was fridge temperature cold. Returned given warm replacement. Mains, spaghetti pomodoro risotto were tasteless lukewarm. My risotto had 5 large pieces of sun dried tomato absolutely no seasoning. When the young waitress came to take the plates she didn’t ask why I’d left 3/4 of my meal uneaten. When I said I’d like to tell her why said it was tasteless she rolled her eyes and gave a totally uninterested sorry as she was already walking away from us! Not like any Italian I’ve eaten in and certainly won’t be back to this one. Absolutely dreadful."

"Its a great pleasure to write this review. A few years ago, I had made a takeaway order from New Haweli that was unfortunately less than satisfactory and as such we avoided ordering from them. Last week we decided to give them a try and were SO glad we did. The food arrived in good time and was still lovely and hot. The flavours were fresh and so delicious. I will not hesitate to make this our go to Curry takeaway. Its always nice to see a local restaurant improving their customer experience. Would recommend!"

"Last Thursday, we ordered a wonderful takeout meal from this restaurant. The service was fantastic, the food was hot, freshly cooked, very tasty, and there was plenty of it. The pizzas were delicious, the calzone was amazing, and the cheese balls were a hit! We ordered for four adults and there was more than enough food. We have dined in the restaurant before the pandemic and always had a great meal. The takeout experience was also great, with friendly and quick service. "We decided to go out for dinner with our 2 year old for the first time last night and were quite nervous about how it would go. We were greeted by very friendly staff and the waiter was even so kind as to offer to take our son for a few minutes so we could eat. The food was incredible and the warm and friendly atmosphere turned a daunting outing into an enjoyable meal out! Our son made friends with all the staff and they kindly gave him an ice cream at the end! Would definitely recommend for a good night out with amazing food, we will surely go back soon!"
