"I'm conflicted with this place... The food is actually quite good, bar some slightly overcooked chicken. Very good prices, especially for the 3 course menu. Service on the other hand is sub-par. One of the guys was very friendly and happy, the other was miserable. Quite rude taking our orders and then would make us pass the plates/drinks down the table rather than quite easily walk around and place them. It's the little things about a restaurant that make you want to come back and while the food was good, the service has put me off enough to not return. "We went here last night. We were two grandparents and two granddaughters aged 7 and 10. First I would say that the food was OK. However, we arrived at 7 o’clock and it took over an hour to get our starters. We had been put in a back corner and I believe basically forgotten about. We had to ask to order in the first place then were dismayed to see that tables that arrived after us had both their courses and left before we finished our starters. Eventually when we finished our main course and pointed this out to the Manager, we were told that it was because spaghetti takes a long time to cook. I know that this is certainly not the case. An apology and acceptance of the errors would have been much better than a lame and unrealistic excuse and the offer of two free childrens’ ice creams. Also the situation was exacerbated by the amount of takeaways being cooked and sent out. It is a shame that takeaways take precedent over customers in a restaurant."
