"Great ambience and decoration. Visit can nicely be combined with a visit of the skylounge at the top of the building where you get an amazing view. Menu is rather small, but it offers a good number of vegan options which is still rather rare in the area. The planted chicken stroganoff was unfortunately a bit disappointing the sauce was dominant and the vegan chicken tasteless. The waiter insisted too much on us ordering mixed starters. He asked again and again so that at the end we were forced to order the mixed starters for 14chf each. The starter were tasty but we ate only half of it. The restaurant seems to be not very busy and may be that’s the reason they try to make money like this. Also to be noted that main courses first seem to be not very expensive for Switzerland but the sides have to be ordered and paid separately."

"Die kleine Bar an der Baarerstrasse ist für mich ein Geheimtipp. Sie erinnert vom Ambiente her an eine kleine italienische Auszeit. Im Sommer draussen kann man unter den Bäumen ein schattiges aber auch sonniges Plätzchen zum Verweilen Essen finden. Mittags werden wenige, aber sehr gute und stets frisch gekochte Speisen angeboten. Das Essen ist von hervorragender Qualität und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die freundliche Chefin ist persönlich anwesend und das Personal ist immer freundlich. Aufgepeppt wird das Ambiente durch gelegentliche Konzerte abends. Siehe Veranstaltungskalender in der Bar. Eine sehr gelungene und schöne Kombination. Eine kleine italienische Insel mit sehr guter Führung. Complimenti!!!"

"I asked about the use of MSG, and was told that it wasn't on their list of allergy causing ingredients. Now after lunch I can clearly feel the effects of having consumed MSG, onset of migraine , shaky feeling, etc which is why I always...ask. If a restaurant doesn't know what they use in the kitchen I advise to not eat there. Also use of MSG is just plain ignorance and bad cooking. Strongly suggest to avoid."

"The ambiance of the restaurant is quite nice with a lake view of Lake Zug, one of the most high value scenes in Switzerland. The mixed starters were ok, typical deep fried breaded cheese filled jalapenos, some chicken bits a couple of onion rings but very heavy on the potato wedges. Expensive for what was mostly country chips. The Chili con Carne was poor beyond belief. The staff claimed they cooked it from scratch, but in doing so managed to completely replicate the discounted canned chili from a local chain of supermarkets. It appeared to be topped by a square of processed cheese. The only genuine item was the chili garnish on top. The fellow travelers would recommend the chicken fajita.Do not be tempted by the chili."

"While you might have a pretty good choice of vegan items, you can't tell from the menu since they only mark the cheeze vegan. Guess you'll have to ask. I tried the pizza vegetariana with vegan cheeze and it was neither bad nor impressive. The salad was better than it looks, with a variety of greens below the surface, but not too special either. Still, this is your chance if you want a change from Dieci which offers vegan cheeze, too, and does a better job with declarations. Updated from previous review on 2020-12-06"

"I have decided to visit this restaurant due to the fact that I thought it was the same as the one in Lugano. However, they are completely different restaurants. We went to Ana Capri for dinner and didn't really have a complicated order. The waitress forgot 2 items from our order, even though there were only 7 people in the restaurant in total. It looked like the service was non-existent. We had to wait till the arrival of waitress in order to get some wine or order something else. In the end we were so disappointed that we decided to not order dessert. It is such a pitty, because the general quality of the food was good."

"I went there for lunch with my husband. I used to go there a few years ago for business lunches, and it was nice to be back as it was at the time one of my favorite restaurants in Zug. I love the atmosphere, the fact that the waiters are very friendly (and even remember you a few years later when you drop in), the food. You might have to wait a bit longer than in other places to get your food served depending on the time of the day you go there, but the food is always fresh and amazingly tasty. The chef is putting efforts to create a great tasting sensation in your plate, and the waiter are there to make sure you enjoy food with a smile. So a few years later, I can say I still love the place, and will definitely be back when I am in Zug again. Also great is the fact that it's family friendly. :)"

"Ich war bereits 4mal im Rigiblick - es ist ja schliesslich eines der wenigen Restaurants mit Gartenterrasse am Seeufer und Landesteg für Boote.Das Rigiblick Team und deren Gastfreundschaft ist an und für sich sehr nett und aufmerksam. Leider ist da ein noch "junger Hirsch" der sein Geweih noch abstossen muss. Der Service funktioniert nicht so wie ich es gerne möchte... lange Wartezeit und nachhaken.Das Essen ist sehr gut - leider ist die Speisekarte nicht das was ich erwarte. Direkt am Zugersee und kein Süsswasserfisch im Angebot. Auch Wild/Hirsch passt nicht an den See, schon gar nicht im Sommer.Ich gehe bestimmt wieder hin - aber nur bei schönem Wetter."
