"Ore 16.00 chiamato per prenotare un tavolo per un aperitivo veloce visto che vestiti da moto e con la moto carica dovevamo dirigerci alle ore 20.00 a prendere il traghetto a Olbia. Quindi tra gli altri locali scegliamo il Mama Beach. Un ragazzo telefonicamente, ci riferisce che possiamo venire quando vogliamo, che c'è posto tanto che non è necessaria la prenotazione per orario di aperitivo. Arriviamo alle ore 18.00, locale praticamente vuoto, e la cameriera ci dice che è tutto prenotato per le cene!! Insistiamo dicendole che avremmo fatto un aperitivo veloce e che avremmo liberato il tavolo entro le 20.00...ma nulla, ci dice che è tutto prenotato. Km e tempo speso inutilmente. Chi cena dalle 18 alle 20?!? Un pò confuso il personale... Sicuramente non torneremo."

"Coming by chance as neighbors, we appreciated the very warm welcome from the 2 young waiters, we discovered the Roman artichokes there, and in retrospect, they were the best of the whole week! It was still cool in mid-March to enjoy the terrace in the evening but it is well located outside the passing routes, you can eat there in peace. Note, rather local clientele, which changes from the places referenced in the tourist guides where the atmosphere is rushed very often. Not much dessert besides ice cream but the homemade tiramisu is enough in itself. If I were to go back to Rome, this would be the first place I would eat! "As good restaurants go, few can compare to the delicious, savory, mouth watering culinary experience of Gam Gam. Truth be told, even my own mother’s cooking pales in comparison to the incredible steak-thing I ate. Even my own Babushka, who makes a crazy soup, fell short relative to the matzah ball soup. Our waiter, a cute Italian boy named Leonardo kept us engaged and entertained throughout the entire experience. Jokes and anecdotes as well as practical advice on which food to buy and which food to avoid was all that left his mouth. We didn’t spend Shabbat there, but looking back- I wish we had."

"After years of coming to dinner here I decided it was time to do a review! The restaurant is intimate and nice with always good music, there is not much seating (there are 2 rooms) so I highly recommend booking in advance; in summer a small internal courtyard is also opened. The staff is friendly and the service is quite fast. I highly recommend the spaghetti with clams and, although it is not a fish first course, the bigoli with yellow datterini tomatoes and ricotta are really delicious and very light. If you want to try a typical dessert I recommend the Burano biscuits."

"Food is decent, but don’t expect stellar service. There’s a huge disparity in service when it comes to the waiters. A younger Italian waiter is very nice and accommodating. But the older balding man seems to be easily irritable when asked a question or even when asked for something (which is the waiter’s entire job to serve you). I asked for a spoon to share the soup with my husband and the guy shook his head and gave me a look of disdain. Really? As a tourist, spending in European countries is pricy as hell, so I try to choose wisely. I would skip this place for the appalling service from certain staff."
