"I was in Peschici with my wife for a few days and we visited Da Peppino twice. The two experiences could not have been more different, the food however was in both instances fantastic and great value. The first rainy Tuesday, we arrived and the TV was blaring like in many Italian restaurants. The ambiente was nice, the service great, and we had a rather local experience. We returned the next day because of the great food and after asking for candles, we sat in front of the fire place and the owner dimmed the lights and turned on some romantic Italian music. I guess you can hit either, but more Italian is not possible. The owner and his wife are lovely in their own way and extremely helpful with wine and menus. Enjoy :"
