"E' da molto tempo che vedo questo posto. Si tratta di una piccola taverna con ottima gestione. il proprietario gestisce con passione e attenzione e insieme al suo staff può prendersi cura del cliente. perché lavoro spesso nella zona, qui posso fermarmi per un caffè in volo o per un pranzo più lungo. è un angolo con una grande cucina dove è possibile ottenere una pizza o una carbonara gourmet. la posizione nei pressi dei musei vaticani lo rendono un'oasi esclusiva per i buoni palati e i prezzi onesti."

"Ordered steak that was basically killed twice that's how overcooked it was. Diavola and calzone were the only saving grace. Everything else I'd never order again especially a steak (di mazno as the owner is trying to say I meant the 16 euro steak. Di mazno is clearly steak as well) that's 22 euros comes with no sides and you're never asked how you'd like it prepared. I've never been somewhere where the default wellness is well done. Good views have to be for the place next door on accident. Service charge for a sleeping infant is insulting too as she was in a kangaroo carrier and took up no space and required no service. "Il posto deve piacere perché è davvero particolare, unico nel suo genere: si mangia tra statue equestri, busti e sculture in gesso, riproduzioni di opere del Canova e del suo allievo Tadolini. Un po’ kitsch, senza dubbio, ma anche molto suggestivo. Non capita tutti i giorni di mangiare in un contesto di questo tipo. A noi è piaciuto. Il cibo senza sconto yums sarebbe caro ma la qualità e la quantità ci sono: ottime l’entrecote, la tartare di salmone, gli spaghetti cacio e pepe, tutto abbondante. Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più dal dolce, un tortino al cioccolato, che costa 10 euro. Discreto ma non eccezionale, a mio parere. Il servizio, all’inizio freddo e distaccato, quasi irritante, si è ammorbidito e “scaldato” successivamente, migliorando sensibilmente. Il cliente vuole essere coccolato, consigliato, non basta porgergli un menu e dirgli che è tutto scritto li. Con lo sconto yums nulla da eccepire, ben applicato e conveniente. Serata piacevole."

"Il personale era davvero gentile e disponibile: abbiamo provato le bombette classiche che erano davvero deliziose e la bistecca di carne di fassona. La bistecca era cucinata bene, ma era un po' fredda quando è arrivata e mancava un po' di condimento (sale e pepe). Preferiamo che vengano servite puree di patate invece di patate al forno (erano un po' troppo dolci e troppo cotte). Per le bombette saremmo disposti a tornare, erano gustose."

"Very intimate and romantic place, friendly and helpful staff, very good food. Let me start by saying that I am a vegetarian and here there were several dishes that I could choose (two starters, three first courses and obviously the side dishes) I took the mushroom gnocchi and they were excellent! My partner preferred a fish menu with a crudité starter and a second course. We finished it all off with two excellent desserts (abundant tiramisu and a panna cotta) the wine list is extensive, not cheap but we managed to find the right bottle for us. With dessert we had a glass of moscato (which was offered to us on the final bill) Fair price for a restaurant in the center of Venice and generous portions."

"Clean, cosy, lovely little place, a lot of choice but clearly laid out, simple food made with care and very good value. Not fine dining but it does not pretend to be, vegetarians and vegans would not struggle here, bread could have been better was the only quibble. Seemed to be filled with tourists such as myself from all over the world, we seemed quite a pleasant rounded mix the night we were in. The place also seemed to have a few locals and possibly Italians from further afield dining here, which myself and my partner took as a good sign just after we had ordered and observed people flowing in chatting to staff; i'm pleased to say on this occasion this turned out not to be an unfounded good sign. The staff were excellent, the best experience from an eatery point of view after two days in the city. Reflecting a little more they would hold their own in many of the best places I've been too."

"I wish I was exaggerating this was the MOST delicious meal I had in Italy! Not sure why this restaurant isn't Michelin rated! Goes to show the simplicity of Southern Italian cuisine is far better than the most renowned restaurants. I didn't have to reach for any added salt or pepper and for those who know me, that says A LOT. The lemon sauce for the pasta was so addictive that I wish I had more bread to sop it up. Anyway, TLDR you MUST eat here!"

"April 2024- food was good, service fast. Pasta dishes seem homemade. The outside seating was wonderful on a cool spring evening. They had heaters and servers were friendly. I had the cannelloni stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Great flavor. Husband had carbonara that came out in an awesome pan. Only fault was when we were paying the bill the waiter was VERY pushy for a tip. That was very uncomfortable. Our bill came out to €33.50 for: 2 pasta dishes @11€ each , natural water 3.50, 1/2 liter house wine 8."

"The food was delicious and the waiter (Fahim) was very nice. Unlike the manager, his behavior was bad. A table was reserved outside and when we arrived, we were told there was no table and asked to sit inside the restaurant. I told them that if there was a table available soon that I would like to move outside, but the manager refused. The star was lowered due to the official. Although the official who was present the day before and through whom the reservation was made, was a different and very nice person, unlike the one we saw the next day."

"Tornando a Capri, ricordavo di aver mangiato un'ottima pizza in questo ristorante e confermo che non è cambiato nulla. La stessa qualità dei prodotti, la simpatia e la gentilezza dello staff. È piacevole mangiare nel giardino esterno. I prezzi non sono bassi, infatti per una Margherita ci vogliono 12 euro e per i primi piatti molto di più, ma le porzioni sono abbondanti. "Questo sorprendente ristorante a conduzione familiare era a soli pochi chilometri da dove eravamo alloggiati, ma ne sarebbe valsa la pena viaggiare ancora più lontano per mangiarci! "Tavoli all'aperto, ben distanziati. Illuminazione soffusa e sedute comode. Tovagliato di stoffa. Ci siamo subito sentiti a nostro agio. L'antipasto è arrivato abbastanza velocemente. Per la veritá in qualche piatto i frutti di mare, pur essendo ottimi, sono giunti tiepidi ma non in modo da compromettere la bontá del bel piatto di spaghetti. Ci è stato anche proposto onestamente di rifare il piatto, abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilitá, ma non lo abbiamo ritenuto necessario.Per finire sorbetti a limone e tiramisú. Vino bianco amabile e caffè e amari offerti. La gestione seria ha dimostrato attenzione al cliente, cosa che è stata gradita."

"Avoid at all costs if you're coeliac Gluten Free. Ordered a takeaway gluten free Margherita and asked twice (once to a waiter and once to the manager) and they confirmed twice this was gluten free. Upon eating it around the corner we thought it was too good to be gluten free. So we returned to the restaurant to ask the waiter out the front and he confirmed straight away it WAS NOT gluten free. Offered no refund but they made us a new gf pizza but I don't know if we even should eat it now because how careless they were. Waiter was apologetic but manager couldn't care less and didn't even give eye contact. Hope my wife doesn't get sick now as we play russian roulette. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!"
