"from beginning to end, chef marco offered my friend and I with excellent food and service, so we feel as if we were as familiar as one of the many neighboring natives to keep their freshly made mozzarella (a must to try. if they were marco- I never had better mozzarella in my life). After I enjoyed a whole ball of mozzarella between us both as an appetizer, my friend enjoyed the petite gnocchi in a buffalo ragu while I enjoyed the ratatouille. for dessert we shared a chocolate and nut ricotta cake, a speciality of napoli (of course, a woman comes into the bistrot every week to make it in house everything we ate was tasteful, fresh, served instantly, and presented in the most hospitable wise. despite the fact that the restaurant is not close to the city center, it is worth paying the trip to monteverde, a visit to chef marco and enjoying his culinary creations. in fact, because we were not close to the center and not surrounded by tourist that my friend and I enjoyed this culinary experience so much. this was undoubtedly one of my favorite eating experiences during my two-week trip to italy. grazie, marco!"
